Calgary Welcome

My family and I stayed at Applause for our first and last nights in Calgary. The rate, location, and airport shuttle were perfect. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant and the drinks and fish and chips were fantastic (the burgers we saw passing by us were huge and looked delicious). The rooms are spacious, beds comfy and the shower had spa-like shower heads that were a treat. Great amenities as well. The included breakfast had a nice selection to choose from as well. Staff was very friendly - a great stay all in all.

My favorite

My family and I have been going to Applause/Clique since they've been open, and everytime we go it's always been a pleasure to stay here. The hotel is clean, modern and stylish, the rooms are perfect, super clean, and well layed out with every amenity you could possibly need. I personally love the beds and linen, I'm always super comfortable. I would like to give a special mention to the Tonic Kitchen/Bar, the food is always great, breakfast, lunch as well as dinner and the staff has always been very friendly, kind and welcoming. In perticular the morning staff are constant standouts for excellent service and friendliness. I've left reviews several times in the past for this hotel on other sites, and even years on, this property still remains an quality pick for anyone visiting Calgary.

Great hotel near the airport.

We arrived after midnight because of a delayed flight, but check-in was really fast. The room was peaceful, with comfy beds, and the LED lights were a nice touch.

I thought the free breakfasts were excellent. They always had free water in the room. I found the decor in the room quite dark, but everything was comfortable. Shower worked well.

Excellent stay, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room and washroom were clean. Would prefer no carpeting in rooms, but that seemed very clean as well. The room was also very well lit with an abundance of mirrors and space to put luggage and bags. Plenty of power outlets for charging. The rooftop hotubs were a favorite, highly recommend wearing sunscreen. They also had a small but efficient fitness room. The tonic restaurant was excellent with amazing service. Even when busy staff were quick for seating and service. Highly recommend the raspberry white chocolate latte!

Great affordable well equipped

The whole staff from start to finish were excellent. The included made to order breakfast was such a nice inclusion. The rooms are better equipped then some high end hotels and I would say for the value this can’t be beat.
