Great place to stay

Services, cleanliness exceeded my expectations

We enjoyed our time in renovated Room 108. Service was very friendly as well. Place was very clean and we can tell the new owners and management take pride in serving customers.
Nazma, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We really loved staying at the Sunshine Lodge. Front desk receptionist was so friendly and helpful. And the newly renovated room was beautiful!
Francee, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place to stay for the price and walkable to town if you don’t mind the hills. There’s a bus stop that can take right downtown and walkable places to eat. The outdoor space is smallish so be prepared to have limited privacy out there. We love staying here and will definitely be back!!
Dawn, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Friendly service at front desk but shabby room for the price
Lorna, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel is partly renovated and in general was good value for money with a well maintained pool in the middle. We had 6 room reserved at only 1 was available at the posted check in time which was disappointing.
Robert, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We are thankful for the warm welcome and the special large room we were given. Very comfortable and nice.
Patricia, 1-night trip

The reviews I read helped my decision to stay here. They were correct. I would stay here again.
Dennis, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Friendly service, comfortable. Air conditioner loud and difficult to control fan speed
Barbara, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

This property is under going a renovation and it shows. Our bar fridge didn’t work and flooded the floor. They have a great espresso machine in the lobby if you like lattes or cappuccinos. The pool area is beautiful and the motel isn’t horrible. I’m sure when it’s done it’ll be beautiful.
Tina, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was functional. The bathrooms could do with some updating but still served their purpose. Important to note that when the front desk is closed you have to enter/exit pool view rooms from a door near the back.

John, 1-night trip

Big, clean, and comfortable

This little hotel was a bit older, but the beds were very comfortable. We got the room with two double beds, it was very bug and had air-conditioning. TV was in a weird spot, but ot worked. We were in an older room, it didnt smell, and a kitchenette stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and cutlery. The fride was also very cold. Overall it was an older room but we appreciated the beds and air conditioning. We were unsure if the room had air conditioning because it wasnt listed on the hotel's page.
Jennifer, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

They accommodated me to an upgraded room when the heater started ticking. Although the upgrades in the room missed a few more dated pieces, it still was comfy, cozy and a lovely little stay. The pool was cleaned despite it being cold and rainy.
Rebecca, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room and bed was quite dirty… the shower had a window facing the outside, you could look into the shower from the outside. It’s mildly frosted but you can see it from outside.
Mei, 1-night trip

The staff ere very accomodating.

Madelene, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Disappointing

Overpriced! Room was huge but needs updating really bad, kitchenette was too small & in disrepair, unusable back patios, office closed until 8:00am so coffee bar was inaccessible early, upside the staff was very helpful, good location, it was quiet & the courtyard was very pretty.
Karen, 1-night trip

Just like home

The room was amazing very clean and spacious and very quiet . We hope to be staying there next year .
Della, 5-night trip

Absolutely great and convenient

Great stay- really convenient and of great quality. Very nearly located from the Gibsons town center as such, the ferry and other activities around. Would stay again
Deeptanshu, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

For $200 per night I would say it just pleasant. If it was $125-$150 I would rate above than better
suhail, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Was surprised that the booking through Expedia didn’t charge the room then. It was just a deposit. It didn’t specify that in the description. I was also charged extra for pets at the time I checked in. I specifically chose this hotel because it accepted dogs. It was all very confusing as I thought it’d be like my other Expedia bookings

We enjoyed our stay. Thankyou
