This place was beautiful and very accommodating. It was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The room had everything we needed and beach chairs, beach cart and bicycles were provided. It was right across from a coffee and ice cream shop and a nice restaurant and a gift shop. I will definitely be back to visit.

Enjoy Sanibel Beach!

Tarpon Tale Inn is conveniently located on east end of Sanibel Island. The Inn is right across the street from a really good restaurant (loved the coffee) and Magic Bus Ice Cream shop. The bed was very comfortable. Just need to be cautious of the step up into the bathroom! The hosts were very flexible! Proximity to beach - excellent (2 blocks) Property provides bikes, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella!!

A gem! Quaint property that makes your stay enjoyable. They have everything that you need for a day at the beach/shell seeking. The chairs, umbrella, shovels, buckets, towels, and wagon are there to use. Loved it!

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. There's a patio with table outside front door. The area is nice and quiet. The owner of the property was super nice and very helpful. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Definitely will consider staying for a whole week the next time

Old Florida charm with modern amenities. Joe is super customer oriented. No details were missed, from the room itself and the grounds, with hammocks, bicycles, beach equipment readily available. Good restaurant across the street. Park your car, hop on a bike, and enjoy the charm son Sanibel.

The property had great location! Lighthouse beach was a short walk down the street. The property was nicely cared for on the outside & very clean & quiet on the inside . Joe was super helpful & answered all our questions & had great suggestions for sight seeing . Everything was provided from bikes to shelling equipment . A wonderful place to spend a week !!!

Joe, the owner is amazing. He wants you to have the best vacation ever and he is personally there to make sure it happens. The cottages have everything you need, the beds are extremely comfortable, they are remodeled and beautiful, they have kitchen items and all comforts of home. Everything you need

The hotel is on a quiet spot near Sanibel’s eastern tip. Nice, very clean room with several outdoor seating areas as well as an outdoor gas grill. Each room has free beach cart, towels, chairs and umbrella. Five minute walk to a quiet beach with good shelling. Plenty of free bikes. Joe and son are very helpful with anything you need. Like many hotels today, no daily maid service, but really not necessary. Overall a great stay.

The Tarpon Tale Inn is a unique and charming place to stay while on Sanibel Island. It has been beautifully and lovingly restored after Hurricane Ian, and is so cute, comfortable and clean! Every meticulous detail has been attended to by the owner, Joe, who is so friendly and exceptionally accommodating! The grounds and outdoor ambiance of the inn’s setting are welcoming and lovely. Nestled among palm trees and gorgeous tropical plantings, one can spend a pleasant afternoon outside simply relaxing on the double swing, the hammock, or on your own private patio! Bicycles for exploring the island via its incredible bike trails, along with all the beach equipment you could possibly need are included in your stay. The short walk to Sanibel’s gorgeous beaches makes The Tarpon Tale Inn’s location just perfect for your island paradise getaway. This darling property on amazing Sanibel Island is not to be missed!
