We've stayed at the Tarzana Inn several times when visiting family in LA. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. And on top of that, the price is very affordable for the area. The grounds are well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that my room faced the next-door gas station, which keeps lights on all night, and the drapes in the room don't close all the way. We'll stay there again the next time we're in LA.

Clean property, with comfortable bed and good wash facilities. Microwave is reception area but everything else needed present in hotel room. Area ideal for shopping areas within easy reach using Uber. IHOP within 2 minutes walk of property.

The lobby was really pretty and the room was updated. The rest of the exterior of the building is really shabby and there was a homeless person living in the parking lot, albeit she was very nice. I understand that improvements are very expensive and they take time but it was quite noticeable that the building needed some love. The to go breakfast provided in the lobby was very nice.

I stayed for two nights. Staff was a bit gruff at first, but softened. It was a busy trip and I only slept there. I had no issues with the air conditioning. Slept well. Sure, there are nicer places I could have stayed for more than twice the price. This place was more than adequate and I will stay there again.
