A definite must stay if you appreciate the history of this wonderful National Park. If you're more concerned with modern amenities such as wifi, tv, and air-conditioning this might not be the place for you, but if you want to be awed by the beauty of log cabin architecture and history this is the place.

Beautiful hotel. I Felt like I was staying in alpine bedroom. Staff was professional, courteous, and kind. Due to an unforeseen event i had to leave the hotel same dayand they were able to refundme. The only thing I wish they had was a coffee machine and a hot water to make tea outside of cafe hours.

Es war sehr kalt im Zimmer, Fenster undicht, grosse Spalten und Ritze. Keine richtige Bettdecke. Lobby wird von auswertigen Besuchern besucht, daher viel durchzug und kalt. Zimmer war etwas staubig. Personal sehr nett.

menu not up fully. couldnot order la carte. need to let people know there is no internet even in the public areas at the Inn. It was even spotty at the other lodges. Over all my stay was good. The staff very helpful and friendly.

If you want to experience what it was like 100 years ago, these are the rooms for you. However, I had to let the hot water run for 1 1/2 hrs before it finally turned tepid. And the clanking of the radiators, all night long. I appreciate the rustic charm and am glad to have experienced it at least once.

Leider hat es gestürmt und da das Hotel erst gerade wieder eröffnet hat, war es ein Chaos. Um 1800 war das Zimmer noch nicht ready, das Nachtessen wurde verschoben, da durch den Sturm der Strom ausgefallen war. Das Hotel kann nichts dafür, man merkte einfach, dass das neue Personal viel zu wenig geschult war.

The Old Faithful Inn is an iconic old hotel. The rooms are very outdated..No AC. Very small and not comfortable at all and way way overpriced. Dining at any of the restaurants was very disappointing especially the main dining room at the Inn..we made reservations and were told the earliest they could accommodate was 9 pm..We enjoyed the ambience of the lobby which afforded us a view into the dining room..From 6pm - 9pm we observed numerous empty tables in the dining room. On several occasions I inquired about getting in earlier and was told that the restaurant was booked..Not sure what was going on but once we finally got seated at 9pm the dining room was half full..The meals were overpriced and mediocre at best. Old faithful is a great place to visit. The beauty is truly breathtaking but I would not recommend staying on the grounds..very dissatisfied.

Went to check in at 5:50 PM was told our room would not be ready for an hour. Made a 8:00 reservation for dinner. Finally got checked in at 7:00. Went down for dinner at 7:50. Waited in a long line with others who had a reservation. Was seated for dinner at 8:40. Was told our food would take an hour to receive. An hour latter we received a cold burger and fries. The room was very cute and wasn't an issue not having a bathroom in room. It wasn't very noisy even though the hotel was sold out. We found out the next day that they had only been open 3 days into the season and the cleaning crew didn't show up. I would think after so many years they would have this down better. They did nothing to make any of it right but we still enjoyed our stay and the beauty of the old historical Inn.
