The Dilsworth Inn honestly feels like a little home away from home for us. My family and I end up coming back a few times a year because we love it that much. It’s such a cute, cozy place, and being right above an amazing Italian restaurant just makes it even better. The beds are so comfortable—the blankets seriously feel like what I imagine clouds would feel like. We’ve stayed in a few different rooms, but our favorite is the Angel View across the way. And the showers have that soft water that just makes everything feel extra relaxing. We’re already talking about when we can come back again. If you stay here, you have to try the Italian restaurant downstairs—it’s so good. There’s also a small theater nearby, which is such a fun little bonus

Dilworth Inn was a very unique experience. It is a private, small, quiet hotel with all the amenities one would need. If you like the Texas history or learning about the history of a town, Gonzales is a wonderful place to visit, and the Dilworth is a great stop.

This hotel is next to an Italian restaurant. Free parking everywhere around the hotel. Other bar and grill and restaurants walking distance from hotel. Lots of antique shops. The room was nicely decorated. The plumbing in the tub needs work: tub spout leaks when using the shower. The shower head leaks when being used. Other than that its a nice little room for one or two people.

It’s a lovely boutique hotel that has historic origins but has been fitted out very nicely now as a hotel. The attached Italian restaurant is excellent - we had two meals there and thoroughly enjoyed each. There is no staff to deal with - a lady came from the restaurant to let us our room key and we never saw anyone then. Lots of history in the area - 20 minutes to Shiner and the Spoetzel brewery for the tours there. 10 minutes from the Ottine Mineral Springs Spa. We’ve recommended it to friends travelling soon to the area.

The hotel was nicely decorated and looked clean. Available & free parking. But had to speak to someone in the next door restaurant to obtain assistance. No one ever at the front desk. Our bathroom cabinet was broken, the chain to turn off the fan in the room was broken so couldn’t stop the fan without turning off the bedroom light. Initially our tv remote didn’t work but they immediately fixed it. Just wish staff was more available so we could also ask about the town and obtain info.

Overall, and especially for the town, this is a great place to stay! The staff was very friendly, attentive to requests and restocking amenities, etc. The hotel has been remodeled and is very nice. I love the high ceilings, fans and overhead lights in rooms, and style. Some of the improvements may have been done improperly (i.e. a handrail fell out of the wall when used and was only attached in sheetrock with a screw) but nothing that effected us greatly. I did miss the more modern amenities of an ice machine, coffee machine in rooms, etc (there was a home model ice maker & Keurig for the full floor) but for a weekend stay, it was fine.
