There was mold on the bathroom wall. The vent fans need to be replaced ASAP. The "renovations " are not up to par. You can tell this used to be a fantastic motel. The bathroom tile is epic. It can be again with a bit better love and attention. The customer service was fantastic. We would stay here again after a bit more work is done

Very noisy road, bring earplugs. This is a 2 star with very basic room items. Our small room had a Tiny bathroom. Very old motel with only 12 rooms. Room had comfy bed, tv, mini fridge, microwave and desk, but did not have coffee maker or hairdryer. We did get hairdryer from front desk. Single women, do not book, if I had not been traveling with my husband, I would not have felt safe on this street. It is also not safe to walk anywhere from the hotel, no restaurants nearby. Police station is across the street in a shopping center with a thrift store and there is a Pawn shop next door. You will hear Police sirens several times at night. I will not stay in this area next time. I will however, return to Harry’s restaurant downtown on the square for New Orleans cuisine again!! It was a 4 star meal.

Staff was wonderful and property was clean. Aside from that I was reminded wgy I don’t like staying in Motels, the road traffic was VERY loud. Also took a very long time for the shower to get “hot”, we only had one roll of toilet paper and the renovations were very… very average. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this small Inn as it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the small refrigerator w/freezer and microwave was appreciated plus there was a nice outside sitting area for my husband to enjoy his nightly cigar. Our car was parked outside the room which we prefer .... easy access to get what we need. All in all, we were very delighted with our stay. PS We found a wonderful restaurant across the street in a small mall ... food was delicious.
