We were booked into the Purrumbete suite which was very well presented and recently renovated. However, this suite has another suite above it and the construction is such that you can hear conversations and the people walking around in the upper unit. During our stay this situation caused considerable noise and disturbance of sleep on our second night. Further, the guests who were in the room on this night were rude and totally inconsiderate of other guests, even after asking for their cooperation.
While internet bookings may make it difficult to assess the behaviour of guests, the room location, being under the upper unit, does cause issues in terms of sound deadening and that needs to be addressed sooner than later. If you plan to stay at this motel, then ask if this issue has been addressed.
