It was beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Our room wasn’t ready so they upgraded us to a view room. I was extremely impressed. Coming all the way from Tulsa Oklahoma on a last minute planned girls trip. It was worth the money for sure. Even if we wouldn’t have had a view room. It still would have been worth it. They had a hot tub w a view of the ocean. The little town was pretty cool. Ocean was beautiful

Gorgeous view of ocean. The public stairs to the beach is brutal. The exterior of the windows were dirty so the view was blurry when the sun hit it at times.

Very dirty room. On arrival I had to clean decal matter off of the toilet in order to use it. The bathtub had hair in it on the walls and floor, and a white sticky slime on the shower curtain. The bed was made but not fresh, and the floors were sandy. It did not appear to have been cleaned after the last guests other than trash and laundry being removed.

I enjoyed my two nights here. The bed was super comfortable. The view was spectacular. I loved the pool and the hot tub. I met the new owners, Kevin and Amber. They are extremely nice, and customer oriented. The place is old and needs lots of work, but they are upgrading as fast as they can. The price is reasonable and the welcome is warm.

Not impressed

Room looked like it had beed decluttered rather than cleaned. The bed sheets seemed clean and everything else looked like it hadn't been touched. There were sticky spots on all the surfaces. We ended up going to the store and grabbing some clorox wipes to wipe everything down. The rag we used to wipe the floor down turned black and we found bottle caps by the nightstand. We requested more washcloths and never received a reply. Housekeeping never came by. We stayed 4 nights because they had in bold letters "No refunds for early checkout on the receipt."

Kind staff but spendy motel experience overall

The rooms do look like the photos however it wasn’t disclosed that there was wasn’t any AC in the units. There was an old dusty fan in the room and a broken ice machine outside. The Windows were previously broken and sealed shut so our temperature was not controlled at all and very humid. My brothers room also had some quirks with the key and lock however amidst all of this the staff was nothing but kind with quick service. The office and maintenance folks are so sweet. We thanked our maintenance guy for urgently helping with both our rooms with a plate of breakfast we made. 5 stars for the staff! They don’t have much of a building to work with but they’re making it work. For the price being similar to neighboring hotels like the Coho oceanfront lodge we were taken aback by the overall motel experience at a hotel price. Space is decent I think it would’ve felt more worth it if it was on sale but still the lack of temperature control made us feel ripped off. Staff experiences were probably the best part about our stay but the rooms itself is a 2/5 just because it was around $250 per night. There are cheaper places with more amenities and less broken things.

Improper listing

I'm disappointed with the room for the simple reason that I ordered and expected to have a king sweet type accommodation which included according to the listing a Courtyard or grass area behind the unit which beachfront access it turns out the building is a 4 plex which of course only allows the 2 bottom floors to have the yard or the Courtyard option. It never told me to select 123 or 4 between 4 different units when I made the reservation so the entire time I'm thinking I have a yard and I have a Courtyard to do what I had planned. This was a get away from my birthday weekend and it completely changed the circumstances and the criteria of the weekend without having a yard to be able to do anything with friends or family. I specifically made the reservation because it had a yard....

Beautiful view shabby interior and exterior.

Hotel room was old and the flooring was peeling, bed was olders spring mattress, The bathroom sink was clogged and grimy. The toilet leaked around the base. This hotel is in serious need of renovation. The view from the room is beautiful. But unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel.

Bad dont do it.

The overall stay was, well we are here make the best of it.. the room was not cleaned well at all, garbage on back patio, toilet was dirty, dishes we used needed washed before and we cleaned up after. The fireplace didn't work as was needed. Stains on carpet and burn holes around couch area. Bed was very firm. No robes to go to pool.

Room with a view

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Seahorse as we drove down the coast of Oregon. This is an older property built in the 1960s so it’s not modern with new finishes. But the beds were comfortable, the view was amazing and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and nice!

Great view from suite

Check -in is 4pm. Couldn't get into our room until 4:40pm. Booked the hot tub suite. Water was freezing and the breaker was pooped. Threw the breaker, tub started running, but jets & lights didn't work. We went and got dinner. After hours of running, temp only got to 71. It ran all night and in the morning temp was 71. The suite was amazing. 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and great sunset views.
