The staff was super friendly and made some great recommendations for us for dining. I have to say after reading some of the bad reviews I was a bit worried about staying there. However, the room was quiet and all the staff including cleaning staff were lovely people. I would stay here again as it is the perfect location for Lisbon. Next door is a great fado restaurant. It’s across the street from the St George Cadethral and 5’minites from the castle.

The central location right on Largo de Sé, the quaint, large, somewhat dingy room with a window that had apparently been unused for years overlooking a courtyard filled with dirt and air conditioning, but the large, clean bathroom and a wonderful bed with soft, comfortable linens...

The room was good and clean. The area was great as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downfall were the bathrooms. The showers would leave water all over the bathroom floor, not very clean and one of the shower drains were blocked for our stay.

Great location but the shared bathrooms were dirty. Also the sheets had stains (I'm assuming that they were washed but still off-putting). The traffic noise is very noticeable so if you're a light sleeper I'd get ear plugs. That being said, the staff were very nice and welcoming and the location is great.

We had a room with a kitchenette and our own bathroom. The room was ok and had everything we needed. The shower head was broken, and they fixed it right away. The location was close to restaurants, attractions and transportation. The women who worked in the office in the evenings was kind and helpful. We arrived early (around 9am) because we were coming from a cruise ship. There was no one in the office for several hours and when someone did show up, she was annoyed that we were there already. We just needed to store our luggage until it was time to check in. It said on the reservation to let them know when to expect us, so I wish I would have done that.
