Enjoyed our 3 night stay, had a room with a view of the river bridges and minster. 15 minutes tops walk from the station to the hotel, so handy, same to walk to the centre of the city, lots of choices of food and bars in the evening. Great location central to the train station and many attractions. It’s clear they maintain the rooms well including a fresh coat of paint, which you don’t always see with older hotels like this one (usually the paint ends up quite grubby) the breakfast is excellent as well

The apartment was in a great location making it easy to get to all the main places in the city. It was comfortable and a nice size. It could do with some maintenance as the floor was damaged in some places, the toilet worked but had a broken mechanism, just bits and pieces that could do with a bit of care.

The bathroom is in desperate need of a makeover. The cleaning was acceptable overall, but the curtains were covered in spiders at the top, so more attention to detail is definitely required. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, although the variety was quite limited. The mattress is exceptionally comfortable, and the linens are truly lovely. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from everything, and for a small upgrade, you can enjoy a stunning river view.

Stayed in Victoria Cloisters, the annex of the Queens Hotel. The apartments are located a short walk from the city centre and are well equipped. The queen sized bed was comfortable and the apartment overall was excellent. The car park is quite compact and very large vehicles may be difficult to navigate into the spaces. I managed to park my X3 though I think it would be a challenge to park a Range Rover or a double cab pickup.

This hotel was a perfect to walk to all the sites of interest in York. Also, close to boarding the boat to tour the river, close to many varieties of restaurants and close enough to walk to the train station to leave. Lastly, we had a room looking over the river, beautiful. Our room toilet would not flush sometimes, even after waiting over 5 minutes to re the tank was full again. The toilet flush handle was com8ngbout of the toilet. The room was quite hot; but, the fan they supplied was helpful.
