You get what you pay for. Very basic room. Mattress was not especially comfortable. Bathroom fairly dated. Walls are very thin - you can hear everybody moving in various rooms and doors slam very loudly.

There is free parking at the hotel, but only a few places. Check in was efficient. The room was clean, as was the sheets and towels. Shower very good. There was a tower fan in the room, which was much needed in the hot weather. There are tea making facilities, and a small fridge. Fifteen minute walk into town. Would recommend, and would stay again, if in the area.

Quiet, but clean and pleasant. Owner was very welcoming. Breakfast area clean, light and pleasant. Most welcoming being the electric charging point and somewhere safe to keep a bike.

Booked a room for two nights at The Beechwood Hotel but a few days before our trip was offered a free complimentary upgrade to an apartment, with parking, which we accepted. Very close to the station and more than ideal for what we required. Even had a garden. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.

Great service throughout my stay and immediately from booking. The staff were extremely helpful and exceeded my needs. They were polite, with great communication skills. I had a nice, clean room with my own bathroom, and a pleasant, quiet stay.

We had a wedding to attend and chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and in good location. We were actually given an apartment which was amazing all facilities you could want. Spotlessly clean actually looked like no one had been in it before. Massive comfortable bed Great little kitchen area would have liked to have stayed longer. All staff were extremely helpful. Free parking. We booked breakfast and again was pleasantly surprised. All cooked fresh lovely ingredients served by staff that couldn't do enough for you. Having read some previous reviews I wasn't actually expecting too much. Can't obviously speak for all rooms but couldn't fault this place at all. Would 100% return if ever needed. Thank you Brentwood Hotel.

When we arrived earlier than predicted our room wasn't ready understandably but we were given a free upgrade to one of their apartments nextdoor which was a lovely surprise. The apartment was nicely furnished, clean and had all the appliances you would expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you at breakfast , everything was cooked to your specifications and served at your table. Even if you wanted something from the buffet they would bring it to you, you didn't have to move. Our stay was wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.

The room was super comfortable. But there was a cold spell! When I asked for more heat they responded immediately and I was given an electric heater that worked great. Very much appreciated. The walls are thin and noise in adjacent rooms or above is pretty loud. try for a top floor room or in the back!
