My wife and I had to cut our say at this hotel short. Overall it was an ok experience. However, there are certain things that this hotel lacks. Please note that the pool is great, but they do book it out for parties, and therefore, if you are staying at the hotel, you may not be able to use it if it has been booked out. Also, a large school group was staying here and the hotel had no control over them. There were kids boxing outside our room until midnight and nothing was done about this even after we spoke to staff. If you get lucky, you may have no problems here. But there are several better options around Oaxaca for a lot less cost. Also, this is 3 star hotel at best.

We enjoyed our stay. The excellent management team made sure that our rooms were clean every day. The team was also very helpful and friendly in answering all our questions. We also appreciated the location of this hotel - though slightly outside the city center, we enjoyed our walks to the different attractions within the city like the market, etc. The pool was an extra treat! If you like a simple and comfortable stay, you would definitely appreciate Hotel Oaxaca Dorado.

Es antiguo el hotel pero limpio, cuidado seguro. Solo les pido que quiten de atención al cliente a Uriel pésima persona, actitud de cero servicio, cero humano, burlón, si tienes un problema en lugar de apoyar, se burla de ti y en tu cara, no afronta su responsabilidad y no es de confiar, lo demás es muy bueno, la encargada una dama y las de aseo excelentes. El es mala persona,pero igual tiene una vida poco linda por eso es así.

Un día en Oaxaca solo tuve oportunidad de estar solo un día y solo me dió tiempo de recorrer el centro de la ciudad,conocer algunas de sus iglesias,de ir a comer unas tlacuyas y un mezcal. Hay muchas cosas que comprar artesanías. el hotel queda a unos 15 min caminando hacia el zocalo

El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación,nada de ruido,tiene cerca el centro puede uno llegar a pie, y lo recomiendo ya que no hay mucho donde dejar el coche, el cuarto que pedí estaba muy limpio,las toallas grandes y muy blancas,las camas muy bien,el baño excelente,agua caliente,jabones, agua para beber,crema para cuerpo,la alberca disponible y muy limpia y grande,te dan las toallas en recepción..precio en el comedor accesible, muy recomendable el hotel, afuera no hay mucho que ver pero llegando a la catedral hay muchas atracciones a su alrededor, paseo en turibus, está cerca Monte Albán, museos y artesanías

I had a great experience at the hotel I was a little nervous from the previous reviews but the staff, service was amazing the hotel is vintage style , the pool was a great spot to hang out &having the restaurant there to serve you food while you tan perfect definitely recommend staying here !! if you don’t mind walking everything is pretty close.

Un tanto incomodo porque se escucha todo el ruido de los cuartos vecinos y pasamos un momento muy incomodo por los vecinos amorosos de una de las habitaciones y en un viaje familiar con niños fue muy incomodo. Es un poco lejos del centro pero se puede ir caminando. El personal es muy cordial y atento. La tarifa para el nivel de hospedaje lo siento un tanto elevado.
