My husband and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The property is beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful. However, I feel it’s important to share my experience to help other travelers who are considering this property No compassion - I suffered a severely sprained ankle two days prior to my arrival at this B&B, requiring an air cast. There was no ground floor room available when I contacted the B&B. I appreciated their quick response & decided to try to make it work Multiple stairs are mentioned on their website. But I did not realize the difficulty of the narrow outdoor stairss with no handrail, the polished wood stairs inside and having to walk down the hall to use the bathroom. After one night we realized we couldn’t safely stay. I shared this with the hosts the next day. Little was said apart from their caution that nothing would be available in the area on a holiday weekend. We found a beautiful suite in Victoria costing another $1000 No value or privacy if you stay in the Seaview Room. Room is small with 14” TV, no mini fridge, no ensuite. The bathroom is passed by the hosts and other guests. Balcony is shared with other guests, hosts are always around. More like a stay with parents than an anniversary. Basic breakfast that while thoughtfully prepared is more like what you could make at home. Not the elevated style of other B&Bs. You may enjoy your stay if you book the guest house room and order an elevated breakfast in

Ross and Ruthanne were wonderful. Breakfast was perfect. Grounds were so beautiful Loved the balcony. Last night relaxing, morning coffee ( thank u Ross) and breakfast on the balcony… all perfect. Relaxing. Only thing to make it extraordinary would be like a wine tasting and sweets or something in the evening to enjoy outside, on balcony etc??!! Thank u again for a wonderful visit

Was a very nice place. Room was clean and comfortable. Had plenty of places both inside and outside to sit and relax, though I didn't make use of any outside places due to allergies. Breakfast wasn't overly large, which I appreciated as someone that doesn't always eat breakfast to begin with. They were even kind enough to give me breakfast slightly earlier than their usual time frame so I could make my early boat and still enjoy the food.

I loved how warm and welcoming the hosts are. The surrounding gardens are spectacular, while the views are amazing. The home's private and personalized atmosphere creates a perfect place to rest and relax in. Spacious with cozy nooks with lots of attention to details. A place one will look forward to returning to. The owners and hosts, Ruthann & Ross, are the Best that we've ever had in all our travels. They built this beautiful house from the ground up, and are sharing their love of home, family, friendship, and all that Canada represents. We were so fortunate to share and experience the Island hospitality with them. We chose wisely, and it was a fabulous experience thanks to them.

Ross greeted us right away and showed us to our cottage. Cute little place in a quiet area with a beautiful view and gardens. Ross was personable and friendly, walking us through the cottage and showing us where everything was. It was a great beginning to our stay!
