Probably the worst booking we’ve ever made.

If you have booked, rebook. If you are thinking about booking, rethink. I must issue a warning as this might ruin your vacation. This is a disco-club hotel for age 60+ and nothing else. We have never left a hotel early before, this was a first. At first glance, it looks like a 5-star resort, nice environment but rooms are ok but not what you expect for the price. We booked the swim-up suite ocean view. Small strip of water which is not connected to any of the main pools. Clean though, I’ll give them that. Arriving here was one of the worst hotel experiences of our lives. Our problem was the constant dance music. During daytime there is a DJ screaming in the microphone (not the good kind) nonstop, so no relaxing wherever you are on the premises. Our room was 150 meters away from the bar but we heard everything with doors closed. The music is extremely loud constantly, and we tried to sleep at 9.30 pm with earplugs, that didn’t help. The music kept pounding through earplugs, and it sounded like a techno-festival (which we at times enjoy but not at a 5 star resort). At 10.45 pm we called the reception and asked about the volume, they apologised and said “we will check”. 11.15 pm I went there to see what was happening and the bar (close to the reception) had 30 people screaming to ABBA and they said “sorry we will close shortly”. This would be absolutely fine if they actually mentioned this on hotels.com. So we feel obliged to issue a warning about it.

We have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is huge but so tastefully done and built in a way that if you want to find quiet you can, if you want beach you can, if you want activties there are many on offer, it has something for everyone. The rooms are lovely and it is incredible to believe that you are in a country where so many people do not have power in their homes or running clean water and yet this hotel has 3 beautiful and immaculate pools, as well as numerous rooms with a swim up pool. We were fortunate to have one of these and loved it, it was so lovely. The staff need a special mention, nothing is ever too much trouble, they are just the lovliest of people and then there is the super animation team providing water aerobics, beach parties and volleyball for those who seek something to do. The hotel seems to be a destintaion in particulalry for French and Polish tourists and so there were both French and Polish speakers in the animation team, as well as English of course. This was a brilliant hotel.

A wonderful hotel. Personally welcomed by the general manager Angela. Beautiful beach on your doorstep. Went to La Base Kite for lunch. Some points of interest: Cleaning fitness room and equipment. A number of devices are also broken. Follow-up of reported malfunctions is not yet well developed

Ægypten kan det samme - billigere og bedre

Værelserne fremstår trætte, problemer med aircon vat et problem flere af gæsterne talte om. Vores løb i vand og larmede urimeligt meget. Selv efter 3 serviceforsøg blev det kun tåleligt. Buffet var under forventning for et 4-stjernet hotel. Ikke meget kød at vælge imellem og virkelig ringe juicer. Lyspunkter er deres pools, placering på stranden med god adgang til surfing, der er rent og pænt. Og de har et ret godt gym. Maskinerne er dog delvist ødelagt, og de medarbejdere der arbejder i deres spa/gym, laver ikke meget andet end at kigge på TikTok Og slutteligt er det håbløst de ikke kan finde de ud af at fjerne skrald på deres strand, når de har fuldtidsbemanding på stranden.
