All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and well equipped with a walk in shower, safe and fridge, as well as dressing gowns and slippers. We stayed at a busy time, but no wait for breakfast which provided plenty of good quality options. Pool area was great, although tried to get in about 4pm on a Friday and had to wait as at capacity. Lots of kids in so decided to go back about 7.30 and it was much quieter.

The overall stay was not as good as my other stays at this hotel, as the hotel was under renovations, was not aware when i booked.The spa was nice still, but as it was a break to recuperate after some broken ribs, the room opposite was been renovated and the noise was loud from corridor and drilling outside my window,this was not restful, didnt complain as i have been many times, just wished i was notified could off made my decision, or when checking in they could of said works was been done on the oppersite side of me The staff were all good, spa was good, and food was ok, no relaxing areas to sit in as works were happing apart from the cold area near the entrance, I was told once the works are done it will be a good hotel to stay in lets hope so, as it kind of spoilt my two days of rest. I would ask next time if any works are been done when booking next time, the reception manager was kind and said when booking again to call him and he would arrange a beter stay.
