The location is perfect for an early morning flight because it is close to the airport. The check-in was easy. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. He gave me additional information about my trip that I needed. He also helped me carrying my luggage to the room. The room was clean and nice. I will come here again.

The hotel is very handy for the airport but the downside is aircraft noise. The room was clean and functional as was the bathroom. We couldn't get the a/c to work and the louvres on the blinds were seized up. This meant that the room was pitch black during the day. You could open the blinds and windows but this let in all the street noise. The breakfast was great

Pros: The property was as pictured and close to the airport Cons: No one was at the front desk when we arrived at 2pm. We rang the bell and waited 10-15 minutes for someone to come. When asked about a shuttle to the airport, we were told it would be free. We were then charged 56 euros for a 2 minute drive. Overall, poor service and not worth the price of the hotel.

We chose Konavle due to its location to the Dubrovnik Airport. We were very pleased when we arrived. The owner/manager of the hotel met us at the front lobby and allowed us to check in nearly 2 hours early. Additionally he upgraded our room. He made us very happy to have chosen this hotel. The owner/manager carried all of our luggage to our room without asking a thing. The room was very nice with a delightful balcony. There is a great sitting room on the 2nd floor for reading or just chatting with others. A nice pool and sitting area is also right there. At first we were concerned about the traffic going right past the front of the hotel and very fast and noisy. Surprisingly, the noise was not an issue. As evening approached the traffic also cut way down. They have a nice restaurant at the hotel. We did not eat there. Right across the street is a delightful pizza. Pizzeria TATA MATA. Excellent and very economical. Another reason we chose Hotel Konavle was the shuttle service to the airport. The airport is just 2 KM away. It would be walkable if there were walkways. We used this service and it was excellent but thought that 20 Euro was a bit high for such a close location. Nevertheless, we rate Hotel Konavle high in all areas.

Very poor experience

We only picked this hotel for our last night in Croatia because it is next to the airport. We found the hotel closed on Sunday afternoon,!finally after waiting around outside some girl from across the street came over and checked us in. We both had large, heavy suitcases and she gave us a room on the second floor and did not offer any help with our bags and there was no elevator. There was a restaurant in the hotel as pictured but it was closed. There was a little market next to the hotel but as I looked for the entrance I was verbally accosted by 5 drunk old men and women, sort of like hobos, who started yammering in a variety of languages until I walked away. We found a pizzeria across the street where we had dinner. In the morning the guy at the front desk said he was the hotel shuttle and asked for 35€ (the night before they would not give me the price). Since we were only about 1 mile from the airport, and there was a taxi stand outside advertising 13 Euro to the airport, we settled for 25€ because it was early and there was nothing else we could do. He took us for the less than 5 minute drive in a beat up old Mercedes. Most of the satellite channels on the TV didn’t work. The sheets were scratchy. Overall a very poor experience, do not recommend.
This is the sign right next to the hotel that says 13€ to the airport. Hotel tried to charge 35 then settled for 25. They took us in a beat up car, distance was about 1 mile.

Excelente opção perto do aeroporto de Dubrovnik

Uma ótima opção perto do aeroporto de Dubrovnik. Reservei para uma noite. Quarto amplo, limpo e silencioso, roupas de cama e banho de excelente qualidade. O hotel fica na rua do aeroporto a menos de 5 minutos de carro do aeroporto, Peguei justamente para a noite anterior do meu vôo. Atendimento rápido e excelente. A recepção não funciona 24 horas, tem só que ficar atento aos horários de check in. Tem um mercado em frente que facilita muito e também tem estacionamento. Recomendo muito para quem queria ficar perto do aeroporto.
