Perfect stay

I originally thought it would be a guesthouse quality in terms of cleanliness, but turned out it’s even cleaner than a hotel especially the bathroom. Everything looks new in the bathroom with a lot of towels available and the shower gel, shampoo etc. Reception is very nice and location is near bus stops where you can get to Edinburgh centre quite easily.

Le parking est dans une autre rue, donc il faut changer l'adresse pour l'atteindre. Il est souvent plein. Sinon l'hotel est correct dans l'ensemble. Acceuil sympathique mais gros gros accent ecossais pas facile a comprendre. Situation pratique de lhotel avec un tram devant qui emmene au centre.

Great place to stay in Edinburgh

Our stay was perfect. Craig is a warm and knowledgeable host who shared with us information on the history of the hotel as well as provided us with a map, restaurant recommendations (We took his recommendation and ate at The King's Wark which was great food) and gave us a tour of the room and the common space. Our room was perfect for our overnight stay. The room was in great shape and perfectly maintained (not an easy task with an older facility) Our stay was perfect and will book with Pillar House the next time we stay in Edinburgh

Fijne overnachtingsplek, dicht bij de tram dus je bent overal zo. Goede ontvangst met iemand die gelijk tips geeft voor pubs of eetgelegenheden. Op de kamer koelkast met water en ander drinken (gratis). Thee/ koffie/ chocolademelk. Je kan gebruik maken van een gezamenlijke keuken, hierin staat gratis fruit &muffins. Enige nadeel kan zijn dat de muren dun zijn en de tram voor de deur langs rijdt

Fantastique. Propreté irréprochable, gentillesse de l'hôte, cuisine pour se faire à manger avec équipement complet, confort de la literie. De plus cet hébergement est situé à 150 mètres d'une station de tram venant directement de l'aéroport ou d'Edimbourg. Idéalement bien placé. Super.

Wonderful stay - would highly recommend

Really impressed with this place, especially for the very fair price we paid. Convenient location about 200 yards from tram stop. Really spacious room which had small kitchen facility as added bonus. Staff friendly and luggage storage helpful. Only gripe was that our shower in the en suite bathroom did not work v well

Clean and comfortable

Charming older building a short walk from coffee shops, restaurants and Edinburgh’s excellent tram network and public transit. The room was tidy and serviceable, staff was friendly and responsive, all at a great price point. It’s not the Omni, to be clear, but it’s a comfortable place to use for exploring Edinburgh. Do note that there are stairs to the rooms so keep accessibility in mind.

Nice stay

It was a good stay for one night.. we had to rush from the centre before 9 pm to avoid the late check in charge, which we cane to know only after booking! We did have a good night sleep. Breakfast is self catered. The kitchen facilitates were good. We were informed that TV channels didn’t work due to the work being carried out in the property. The property was not noisy 👍 It is well connected to the centre by a tram line just outside 👍 I’ll be happy to come back for a stay here again.
