Very Disappointing... not recommended!!

Very disappointing... not clean, heaps of garbage under the kitchen sink from the last occupant, 1/2 the light bulbs were burnt out, only 2 plates, 2 spoons and 3 tea cups, no coffee, dirty t-towel. Could not pay with a credit card upon arrival, only cash. Very strange room set-up... too much big furniture, hard to move around the room, a 1/2 wall in the middle of the suite that you had to walk around to get to the kitchen or bathroom. Would not recommend or ever stay there again.

Confirmation means nothing!

I arrived at 5:20 (check in's at 4:00) to find out "I already checked in"! Someone else got my suite even though I had a confirmation from Expedia. The woman had rented it to someone else and when I told her that was unacceptable, she said she'd "find me something". She then offered me a room in her house, we drove by it and realized that wasn't going to happen (it was a dive). We had to take a $180 Ferry ride (round trip) to find accommodation. Do NOT rent from this woman no matter what, she overbooks and then hopes for the best.

Basement suite in an older home.

Surprised that it was a basement suite in an older home. Nothing in the listing to indicate that. Kitchenette was incomplete. TV did not work. Kitchen chairs were wobbley. Will not go there again.
