Two night stay.

Hotel was nice, and staff very helpful but our room was far too hot. Bar service was slow on the first evening due to lack of staff. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

Amazing hotel and staff

The room we had was big, plenty storage and seating. The bathroom was nice with a large bath. The complimentary jar of sweets/choc was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and approachable. Bar staff very knowledgeable about the drinks on offer. Food was really good. Hotel had a very relaxed feeling about it, nice lounge area to air and enjoy drinks.

Stayed here for a business trip. Fantastic hotel, it is absolutely beautiful and the area is just gorgeous. I came in late and the staff were so welcoming and kind and let me get up to bed and settle up the next morning. I had the Eggs Benedict which was delicious and again all the staff were lovely. The only reason for the 4*on facilities is the room I was in was slightly dated but the new owners are in the middle of renovations. However the room was clean and the bed was super comfy. All in all great stay and would 10/10 recommend :)

Great place to stay ❤️

Lovely night away, room was on small side and was a bit tired but very clean. Nice toiletries and a jar of sweeties was a lovely touch on the tea tray. Comfortable bed and loved the lift, old fashioned but it worked, great to have in the Hotel. Breakfast was really good as was the lovely staff. Will go back.again as it has been decorated in most places and looks so lovely outside.

Okay for 2 nights

The room was comfortable but carpet and furniture needed a good clean to remove dirty marks, the shower was over the bath and it was difficult to climb into and it was also very hard to control the temperature.

Beautiful hotel! We were a bit worried when arriving with our 2 year old that it might not be child friendly as it was clearly a beautiful building, but the staff were absolutely lovely with her and very happy to provide what we needed. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful old building with huge rooms. Unfortunately there was an issue with the heating but or oom was still warm. Shower in our room was pretty old and wasnt very powerful but the room more than made up for it! Our daughter loved the sweets in the room!

Lovely Stay.

Our room was really big with a huge bathroom. Thick curtains, cosy duvet, warm fluffy towels and plush loo paper. What more could anyone want?? Restaurant was nicely decorated. Food was great. My husband said it was the best steak he's ever had. They also sent out a dish with Happy Anniversary written on it with macaroons and strawberries. Such a lovely gesture.

Apart from the shower part being broken & a dirty towel being left in the room it’s a lovely hotel lovely staff - although when having meal staff kept getting things wrong, ie we were asked 3 times if we wanted dessert! It did not spoil our time, food was amazing as was decor, would def come back
