A nice resort with a wonderful staff

The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The room was comfortable, with only a few minor issues. In our room, water would drain out of the walk-in shower into the room. That was easily fixed with a towel in front of the shower door. The water pressure was generally good, but occasionally a little on the light side. The staff are wonderful. People are friendly and work hard. They are putting in long hours, but rarely let it show. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. We didn't really use our butler for very much, but he was friendly and always stopped by during the day to see how we were doing and to ask if we needed anything. I would say the food was average. We have been to all-inclusive resorts in five countries, and we thought the food at this one left something to be desired. The buffet seemed to have the same food every day, with little change. The restaurants were a little better, but our daughter is 9 years old, so we weren't allowed to go to the French restaurant for dinner or the Italian restaurant for lunch with her. (They are "adult-only" for those meals.) If you advertise that you are family-friendly, I feel like you should allow people to eat in all of the restaurants for all meals. If you don't want to do that, then just be an adults-only resort. There are three Majestic resorts in Punta Cana; why not designate one or two of them adults only? So, did we enjoy our stay? Yes, we did. Are we likely to go back there again? Probably not.

COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE

PLEASE READ. Cockroaches all over kitchen and bar (see pictures). The first roach I saw ran out from under the chicken wings I ordered (from the plate on which my food was served). Staff seemed unbothered and unsurprised by roaches. Swimming pool and swim-up bars close at 6pm while there is still daylight! Private jacuzzi in room didn’t work! Food was terrible. This is the only all-inclusive resort (and food is never good at all-inclusive resorts) where my family and I decided to go without food and be hungry. Beds and pillows were comfortable, but the rest of the stay was dreadful. Save your money and go anywhere else but here.

Second visit…

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and surprisingly quiet—perfect for a restful night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains were a nice touch. The food offered a great variety and quality, and the location made us feel like we were in a postcard. I highly recommend it.

Great Resort! Fantastic Staff

We had a great stay at Mirage. Lisandro our butler was top notch, extremely responsive and handled anything we would need. Omar and Daysi at the pool bar were also fantastic and always had refills for us ready! Would highly recommend this resort!

L’hôtel est magnifique et luxueux les gens sont aux petits soins, la nourriture est bonne avec de nombreux restaurants, de bons cocktails. En bord d’une magnifique plage.. (dommage qu il y a des sargasses Ils les ramassent le matin, donc privilégier ce créneau). Pas de chasses au transats, il y en avait largement assez! Très peu de français, beaucoup de canadiens et d’anglais.. par contre si vous ne parlez l’anglais ou l’espagnol cela sera peut être compliqué… 3 piscines une réservée qu’aux adultes, une mixte, et une avec des toboggans pour les enfants (peu profonds) ou les parents peuvent se poser ou les laisser sous surveillance à des animateurs. Il manquait juste un petit programme pour connaître les heures de stretching, aquagym… (peut être qu’il y en avait un mais je n’en n’ai pas eu connaissance) Bref j ai vraiment apprécié notre sejour Quelques points négatifs: - le petit déjeuner au buffet: le salé est très bon, par contre les viennoiseries et pain ne sont pas dignes d’un 5 étoiles - les magasins vendent dans le complexe tous la même chose et à des prix exorbitants (on n’a jamais trouvé une paire de tongs pour ma fille de 6 ans) - go majectic voyage : attention à l’excursion monkey, il y en a plusieurs. je pensais voir des singes du pays en liberté et je me suis retrouvée dans une ferme avec des singes de Colombie enfermés dans des sortes de baraques et qui ne voient pas un arbre et le ciel de leur vie… pour les dauphins idem exploitation de ces pauvres bêtes.

We were there with our friends abd their kids for school vacation and we all had a great time. The foods were great with so many options to choose from. Our butler Francisca was amazing the whole time. She checking in with us eveday and make sure we got everything we needed.

Majestic Mirage is a wonderful place. Our Butler Arturo was the best and promptly assisted with anything needed. We stayed at a swim up suite and loved it. Highly recommended.

Is the Second time I come to this hotel, From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the level of attention and care provided by the staff at this hotel. Every member of the team, from the front desk to housekeeping, went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and valued. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was personally escorted to my room, where I found a handwritten welcome note and complimentary treats waiting. Throughout my stay, the staff remembered my name, preferences, and even small details from our conversations—making the experience feel incredibly personal and thoughtful. Whether it was the concierge arranging last-minute dinner reservations or the housekeeping team anticipating my needs before I even asked, the service here was nothing short of flawless. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality, look no further. This place sets a new standard for guest attention and genuine care. I personally thanks to : Maria Emilia Perez, Altagracia, Natalie, Morelia , Wanda at the buffet Restaurant Renzo, Miguel, Willy and the two boss of the Seaside Restaurant Martin and the other Lady that I don’t remember her name . My family and I were delighted with the hotel, service and the staff . We truly enjoyed our stay and we believe that the best asset to the hotel are the people working there, the people we met such as Bea, Roberto, pedro, manuel, xavier, ashley, vladimir jose and Leonel were exceptional and friendly and they are the ones that make people want to come back and we will come back again hoping to relive the memories
