Second visit…

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and surprisingly quiet—perfect for a restful night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains were a nice touch. The food offered a great variety and quality, and the location made us feel like we were in a postcard. I highly recommend it.

Great Resort! Fantastic Staff

We had a great stay at Mirage. Lisandro our butler was top notch, extremely responsive and handled anything we would need. Omar and Daysi at the pool bar were also fantastic and always had refills for us ready! Would highly recommend this resort!

Superbe hôtel

L’hôtel est magnifique et luxueux les gens sont aux petits soins, la nourriture est bonne avec de nombreux restaurants, de bons cocktails. En bord d’une magnifique plage.. (dommage qu il y a des sargasses Ils les ramassent le matin, donc privilégier ce créneau). Pas de chasses au transats, il y en avait largement assez! Très peu de français, beaucoup de canadiens et d’anglais.. par contre si vous ne parlez l’anglais ou l’espagnol cela sera peut être compliqué… 3 piscines une réservée qu’aux adultes, une mixte, et une avec des toboggans pour les enfants (peu profonds) ou les parents peuvent se poser ou les laisser sous surveillance à des animateurs. Il manquait juste un petit programme pour connaître les heures de stretching, aquagym… (peut être qu’il y en avait un mais je n’en n’ai pas eu connaissance) Bref j ai vraiment apprécié notre sejour Quelques points négatifs: - le petit déjeuner au buffet: le salé est très bon, par contre les viennoiseries et pain ne sont pas dignes d’un 5 étoiles - les magasins vendent dans le complexe tous la même chose et à des prix exorbitants (on n’a jamais trouvé une paire de tongs pour ma fille de 6 ans) - go majectic voyage : attention à l’excursion monkey, il y en a plusieurs. je pensais voir des singes du pays en liberté et je me suis retrouvée dans une ferme avec des singes de Colombie enfermés dans des sortes de baraques et qui ne voient pas un arbre et le ciel de leur vie… pour les dauphins idem exploitation de ces pauvres bêtes.

Beautiful vacation!

Our stay at Majestic was great!. The resort is very nice and clean. There are some signs of wear, especially in the rooms and the attention to detail is lacking for a 5 star resort. The room size and layout was amazing, however. We had a few hiccups on check in that had to be worked out and did not get into our room for 3 hours after arrival. It all worked out in the end with a great relaxing vacation. Staff was really nice, except, for some reason the restaurant waiters. They acted like they were being bothered to take our order. Our butler, Wilber, was awesome and even surprised us for our anniversary with a special room decoration. Food was mostly good, with the buffet being the least appealing. The daily beach barbeque was amazing and ended up being our lunch almost every day we were there. We did enjoy the spa and it was fantastic! The beach was picture perfect!

Beautiful resort, awful service

Hello, this was the worst vacation we have ever taken. I reported all of these events to multiple people including Jamie & Jose. Both state they are the managers of the hotel. It started when we checked in and Edith called me a Puta Loco. I was trying to check in my elderly parents and myself and Edith was so rude and impatient with us. Very unorganized. We then had broken glass in the pool which I cut myself on. On Saturday, we were due to check out but wanted to stay an extra day. I spoke to Obiedy that morning and he said they would let us stay the evening for $600 and I agreed. At 2 p.m. that same day Jose came barging into my room. I did not let him in. I was barely dressed and my 3 year old was naked. For at least 5-10 minutes I asked Jose to please talk to Obeidy and leave my room. I told him I felt very uncomfortable. He wouldn't not leave. I told him over and over again and finally threatened to call the Police. He finally left. We got the room figured out finally. The next morning upon checkout I told Jamie about all of the issues we had. She was so rude, inconsiderate and didn't care. He came into my room with no permission I have never felt so unsafe and scared.

The pools and beach are excellent. The staff is also excellent. They really work hard to make guests feel comfortable. The restaurants range from very good, L'Essence, to not so good, Seaside. We took excursions to Catalina Island and the Reef Explorer. The excursions were good except for the travel. We spent 1 hour 15 minutes picking up people for a 25-minute drive for the Reef Explorer. Similar experience for Catalina. I purchased a premium room but was placed on the 2nd floor near a bar with an active happy hour. I was disappointed with my room location. I was given the option to move 3 days into the week but was established by then. Despite the cons, my wife and I enjoyed our trip and the Majestic Mirage and would consider returning.

We travel to Punta Cana every winter for 7-9 days and have been doing this for many years. This property was the best so far; we always stayed at 4 or 4.5*, this was 5* and we noticed the difference. Plenty of cabanas on the beach; so clean, non stop offering of drinks whever we went, two clubs on each side of the beach offering comfortable seating and full day snacking/coffee/juice (refreshed with new variety depending of the time of the day) - this is a place where you can work from if needed (my husband did) - you definitely can do conference calls from here. Butler service was a nice touch, you message them via the resort app for whatever you need and they check in with you also a few times a day. We had Rosario and he was great - took care of reservations, taxis, whatever room requirements we had (more towels/blanket), etc. 24 hr room service we used it once. My husband said all drinks at the bar were premium. I had a wonderful passion fruit mojito and a shot of mamajuana, but my group tried all sorts; fun atmosphere at the bar, relaxed, no harassment on the beach or by the vendors. I remember at other resorts you had to say no every 5 mins, it was not like that here at all. Very relaxing, so much variety. Watch out if you have FOMO :-) because there is so much to eat, drink and sample in terms of experiences. We will be back, thank you to the hotel staff and thank you Rosario for making us feel so taken care of!

The staff were amazing-always friendly and welcoming! It was a very chill vibe and it was not overly crowded. Our room did smell very musty and even though we had a dehumidifier, that didn’t help. We requested to change rooms, but we were unable to do so.
