Very comfortable studio/hotel room. Large tv, nice kitchenette situation, jacuzzi tub for two is awesome. Nice view of the lake. The loveseat is a tad small , overall we can't wait to find a reason to return. 100% recommend.

Amazing!

This was probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The grounds were kept up and so beautiful. The rooms were much bigger than I imagined and also maintained and as clean as the outside. The kitchen is well appointed with anything you might need. I highly recommend The Lodges at Cresthaven and can't wait to go back. The only drawback to mention is there might be a lot of steps for someone who can't do steps. Other than that everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay. The steps weren't a problem for me, but I just wanted to make others aware of the steps to get down to the restaurant and beach area as well as the steps getting to some of the rooms.

It would make a nice postcard but overprized

Way too overprized and beach is small and rocky and there’s no lifeguard so you can swim unless 2 adults watching and they kayak rentals end at 3pm so no afternoon or sunset kayaking. If you are handibcaped or with a stroller this would be a nightmare there’s step dozens of steps up and down the beach and complex and the only restaurant on site is so popular that cannot even accommodate guests at the lodge or even get their food ordered to be taken within the complex.

I our trip was great. Will definitely stay again. Couple things I would change. 1. the toilet paper holder in the main bathroom definitely needs to be moved to the other side of the wall. I’m not a big person and it was touching my arm when I sat down so I can only imagine how people who are bigger than myself feel. 2. Maintenance should set up the crib for the guest. The pool area needs a couple more tables and the boathouse should definitely be open 7 days a week. Other than that the grounds are absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be staying there next summer for a much longer trip.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Lodges at Cresthaven

This resort was a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t expecting a permanent home when I come back to Lake George. The room was impeccable. Clean and just beautiful with a little view of the lake from a large size balcony with a hige high top table. The bed was soooo comfortable I wanted to take it home with me. Bathroom jacuzzi was great, water pressure all of it no complaints. There’s an outdoor pool that leads into the indoor pool. It rained on our last day while we were in the outdoor pool and we simply swam into the indoor one until it stopped. There’s also a Grotto indoor pool that was just as great with amazing views of Lake George in front of you. The beach as perfect right on Lake George. Theu provide Kayk’s, Paddle board and you can bring own swim toys if you’d like. The BoatHouse restaurant and Bar is right next door where you can grab a bite. The filet mignon was so good. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful Property in need of some TLC.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is great. However, the lodge we were assigned needed a more thorough cleaning as the carpet in the living room area had toenail clippings and crumbs and there was a significant amount of mold on the grout in the primary shower. The king-size bed was at least 34 inches from the floor which made it difficult to get in and out of. A cooler that we brought with us was used to step on in order to get in and out of the bed. Also, the mattresses on the beds in the 2nd bedroom and on the pullout need to be replaced. The pool and grotto could use a cleaning too. On the positive side, the lake views from the lodge were very nice. The grounds and beach were pristine and the resort offered several activities/events for guests. We also found the staff very friendly and professional.
