It was unusually hot for March and that hurt lying by the pool in the sun. Just too unbearable. I did have a complaint, a big one. The air conditioner in our room worked but was as loud as an airplane taking off over and over. It was incredibly disruptive.

Pool was great. Hotel was quiet this time of year mid week so the bar is not busy enough to be open. Staff was accommodating to allow us to leave our bags and contacted us when our room was ready so we could check in a bit early after an early am arrival. We did not have a car for this portion of the trip and this hotel is walkable, but far from the downtown core etc. close by options are somewhat limited.

Flooring and walls were very dirty. Couldn't let my children walk barefoot. Room was extremely loud, it wasn't the A/C but there was a very loud humming sound, maybe another building A/C or the swimming pool system. Not sure but we were on the 2nd floor close to Gigi's. Bathroom faucet didn't work, it shot water out everywhere when we tried to use it.

We had no pressure or hot water in the shower the staff told us to shower 2 rooms over instead of offering to change rooms. They finally had us change rooms after I insisted. Our key cards for the first room had to be reactivated at 2 separate times of the day. All the charging ports for our phone did not work in both rooms. For such a short stay there were a lot of problems. I’ve stayed at the V several times unfortunately this time was really disappointing.

*No electrical outlets by the bed. *No phone in room to reach out to the staff at the desk. *No automatic door to get into the lobby/out of lobby, with suitcase. I struggled getting into the lobby through the door and fell going out. There was a huge, thick mat outside the door which did not allow for my heavy suitcase to roll.
