Historic town.
I arrived at 9.40 p.m. to a friendly greeting.
The hotel is a pub with upstairs rooms, tastefully modernised, excellent value.
The Turkish pizza restaurant is almost opposite and open to 11 p.m.
An excellent full breakfast provided at this hotel.
The staff are genuinely caring.

Great welcome from the owners and they put on a late lunch for us. The room was spotless and comfortable with some great views from it especially after the snow had fallen. Very welcoming towards our guests who called to see us and some really good ales on offer. We certainly will be returning here on our visits to Rhayader .

Our stay at the Elan Hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Elan Hotel. Hosts Martin and Iris were extremely helpful as were the rest of the staff. What was most pleasing was that the food was all locally sourced.

New Owners are great
the room was small but very well laid out and plenty of room for a couple. Lovely hosts/ owner Martin took extra time to make sure our stay was comfortable. Even after a very busy carnival weekend he and his staff had smiles and great focus on customers. We would recommend this hotel. We enjoyed a great cooked breakfast too.
