This was my second stay. As I mentioned in my prior review, the worst part is getting to the place. Specifically the shuttle service. Every other hotel in the area has a shuttle loop in service. This one does not. You have to call in for a shuttle. My advice to management is to change that.
During this second stay I opted for a "Runway View". It's a few dollars more, not sure about the value. The room I was given was much older and in a lesser condition than my previous stay. Perhaps I got lucky the first time and got a recently renovated room. Either way it seems like a dice roll.
The room wasn't terrible but it did have signs of aging and wasn't as clean. Still though, the hotel is very comfortable and cozy. Seeing the airplanes land and take off at the runway was certainly a nice treat. I don't know how they do it, but they manage to keep the noise level very low.
I like the late checkout time (12PM). Sometimes I wish it was later since it is an airport hotel. At least it's easy to get a shuttle to go to the airport. Just not the other way around.
The shuttle service at the airport end is a huge deal breaker. I'm not sure if I'd keep staying here or recommend the place. Make no mistake, it's indeed a "luxury hotel". It has an onsite coffee shop and all. However, the pain in getting to it is irritating. Seeing all those other hotel shuttles regularly picking people up in a loop makes me want to use one of the other places instead.
