Overpriced for a small room, outdated bathroom, no temperature control and lots of street noise. To make matters worse, fire sirens from the fire department are a regular occurrence. We experienced one at 3:30am. Our headboard was against two floor to ceiling glass windows. Continental breakfast had nice muffins, boiled eggs and yogurt which was nice. Bartender was great. I just understand all the great reviews of the hotel and feel misled by them.

The Victorian Inn is owned and operated by a family who are there daily and it shows. People are very friendly and happy as a great vibe breakfast in the morning is very nice freshly baked scones and fruit. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored and maintained a beautiful example of a Victorian building. The bar and restaurant downstairs is great so handy to have a nice supper at the Inn. You can walk to all the shops in Ferndale. Great location will go back for sure.
