We really weren't at the hotel for long as we were shopping at Round Top, but we enjoyed the room, nice size, very clean.
It was a very quiet hotel and located near restaurants, so made it easy to come and go.
If you are easy going, want a great room for a bargain price, stay here.
We do plan to stay again on our return to antique week, because for the price and the fact there we are only in the room long enough to shower and sleep, it's a perfect place to stay.
The best part : The Oaks doesn't inflate its prices during Antique Week, they have an affordable hotel with an affordable price. Our stay for the two days came to 1/4 the price we normally have to pay in the Round Top/ Warrenton area. Drive to La Grange, unwind and have a great sleep.
Now outside was not so clean, we had to move a baby walker before we could ever park, our walk away was strewn with empty beer cans.(hopefully they had fallen out of a recycling sack) The maid's storage closet was open and things scattered everywhere.
