Fall Color Tour October 2019
Marie and Ted were fabulous hosts!! We arrived late (and they were out of the house) and they left very detailed instructions for us in their absence. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We awoke early the next morning to head out and found Ted had made the MOST delicious blueberry muffins. We took a couple of muffins and some coffee with us for our ride up to Mackinac Island. The only issue we encountered was not being able to figure out how to operate the TV in our room but it didn't impact our enjoyment of the space at all.

I liked the proprietors, and only having three guest rooms was a new experience for me. I was disappointed the lake levels were so high that the area by the water was unsafe to use at this time.

Great place with wonderful amenities. Ted & Marie are very kind and generous to their guests. Would gladly stay here again. Only (slight) minus is that it is a bit away from downtown, but that could be a plus in many ways too! Loved it here!

Just a note, NOT a complaint! Be aware this is NOT a hotel. I've seen this in other reviews, too.
Ted and Marie are WONDERFUL hosts and we enjoyed meeting them and visiting, but you are staying in their house. That said, it's GREAT!! A beautiful home and you'll have your own private bathroom.
I highly recommend staying here as long as you're comfortable staying in a house, not a hotel. We LOVED it, even with the bit of a surprise that it's not an actual "inn." Thanks for taking great care of us!

Very clean and quite. Food was fine and nicely presented. We would come back again. Our one complaint was it was overheated.

Comfy B&B in a great location!
My wife and I stayed here for a night, while in town for a wine tour. The location was perfect...a cozy little place up Leelanau Peninsula. The B&B was a little difficult to find from the road, as there is no sign, and the driveway is secluded. The owners were great and the homemade breakfast in the morning was fantastic! When I booked it, I thought it was a quant little hotel, but I was very satisfied with the B&B atmosphere and would highly recommend.

Disappointed. Asked for refund - didn't receive.
We were given a window of time to check in from 4-6 pm, per our confirmation email. We planned our day around that to make sure we arrived at the hotel (bed and breakfast, not a hotel), by 5 pm. When we arrived, it was dark and there was a note on the door addressed to someone else, noting the owners stepped out but we could go to the specific room that I had reserved. I felt very uneasy about this from the moment we walked to the door and saw this. I left a vm noting we weren't sure if our room was booked to someone else, and left to go get something to eat while we waited for a call back. While out to eat I received a call from the owner noting she made a mistake and the room was in fact ours. I still felt very uncomfortable about the whole thing and explained that we went out to eat since she wasn't there and would be back. We decided to go stay somewhere else and didn't go back. I sent the owner an email explaining that while we understand simple mistakes (the wrong name on the note for example), we just didn't feel comfortable staying and would like a refund since we didn't stay. The response was that we "checked in" and would not be provided a refund. I was very disappointed considering the limited 2 hour window to check in with no one there, and someone else's name on the note noting the room I had reserved. The owner claimed she never provided a 2 hr window, so I fwd that specific email to her noting 4-6 pm. To date, no response. We didn't check-in/use any service.

Nice getaway!
The owners were very friendly and made you feel at home. We had a nice spacious room with a view of the water. We could control our A/C or open the windows if we wanted a breeze from the lake. Our own personal bathroom was across the hall which we could only open with our key. Each room has it's own private bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was at 9 am and we sat at the table with the other guests. It was nice conversation and good food. The house is located on M-22 and you can walk across the street to their dock on the water which is beautiful. It is in a prime location for wine tasting on the Leelanau Penninsula. Overall it was great and we would return in a heartbeat.

The BEST little "INN" isfaire in the North!!!
Our hosts could not be any nicer in making us feel at home and letting us take over their home! We had all 3 rooms and the run of the place! They are so nicely situated right on the bay and have wonderful amenities in taking advantage of that with outdoor seating and even a hot tub!!!! It was the perfect spot to relax! And the breakfast spread was superb!!! I would definitely go back again when in the area!!!!

The best B&B in my experience
Excellent B&B. The home is well located between Traverse City and Suttons Bay. Great locale for vineyard touring and visiting small towns such as Suttons Bay! The home is spacious and clean. Every breakfast was an incredible experience. The owners go out of their way to welcome guests and were friendly and accommodating.

Great B&B Marie and Ted are very nice and they have thought about the things that help make travelers comfortable. Private bath is across the hall- but it was fine- super clean and updated. Breakfast was expanded continental and very good. Fresh fruit pie available at all times. The driveway is narrow and getting out onto M-22 can be an issue. Overall, would certainly recommend, and will stay again if we get the chance.
