Beautiful site with mountains and wildlife all around. Very helpful staff and quiet rooms. Room was modernized but needs a few touch ups. Only complaint is power kept going out and wifi was very spotty. But to be honest it’s a great trade off to being in the mountains! The restaurant on site had the most amazing smoked meat. Not a lot of variety, but what we ordered was very tasty.

Location is amazing, nestled walking distance down to abraham lake, mountains in view all around. Simple, rustic vibes in the hotel but clean and friendly staff. Parks and mini golf are dated but the kiddos didn't complain at all about it and enjoyed them regardless. They have improved the amenities since we last visited a couple years ago with the addition of their arcade game room! They gave us some tokens for the kiddos to play while we waited for our dinner which was a nice touch. We like to stay here annually for a family trip! We will come again

Basic inn, the rooms only have a small coffee maker and fridge, most of the Reno's we're done but have never been finished. Flooring in each room is missing and the drywall has been cut back in the washrooms( probably due to moisture issues from past problems) no air conditioning.
The cleaners did thier best to accommodate us with the little support they would receive from the owners.
There is a restaurant on site, but on the final meal the one manager wanted to charge for every glass of icetea/ pop (almost$5 a glass) saying they don't offer free refills with the meals. The servers seemed confused by this new change.
Seems they are still working on a few things to make the place run smoothly.
But your really staying here for the views of the mountains and the hiking trails.
