Large, sunny 2 bedroom apartment and a short walk to the beach. Carol is a lovely, friendly host and made us feel very welcome. We were very lucky with the weather but felt the apartment would have benefitted from some fans as it became very hot and stuffy in there. The bedrooms only have blinds but they are not quite as wide as the windows. The gaps let in the morning sun and evening light from the street lights leading to a very disrupted sleep. Would definitely benefit from having heavy curtains in both bedrooms as we were woken up at around 5am on both mornings. These additions would definitely make the stay more comfortable as everything else was great 😊.

Great for midweek break

I went for a midweek break. Very clean, comfortable, bedding provided. Carol friendly and helpful. I stayed in top apartment (6) which is 4 short flights of stairs. Partial sea view from lounge. 2 mins walk downhill to beach.

A mixed review (flat 6). This is a review specially for flat 6, I haven't been into any other flat so cannot comment on them. First of all, I like that Carol phoned the day before to give us the code to the keysafe, nice and personal touch. Secondly, you can pretty much turn up whenever you like (after 1500) as there's not really a booking in process; just get the keys out of the keysafe. There's a knack to opening the front door, so don't be worried if you struggle. There's plenty of free parking nearby but only 2 dedicated spaces outside the front of the block. You are very close to town and the beach. The facilities: The kitchen. The kitchen we had (flat 6) was a small but very clean kitchen with everything you need in it (appart from oil). The oven is very clean and looks almost new! The breakfast bar was handy right have. They provided washing up liquid and a brand new sponge so it was easy to wash up after cooking. No negative points at all! The lounge area: The lounge area has a fantastic view of Swanage Bay, absolutely beautiful in the morning. There's a working TV eith serveral channels. Its a general useful space to have. The negatives:The seats in the lounge are sofa beds, meaning they are very very loud to sit on and not very comfortable. The bedroom: The bedroom is a good size; the blanket was high quality and warm. There were 2 pillows each provided, one flat and one firmer thicker pillow. The negatives: The bed itself is not good for anyone over 6'1, my part

We stayed in apt. 2 for a few nights. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Carol, the host, was helpful and attentive. I think the bathroom lets it down a little. Parking on street nearby was easy enough in early September. If you like cycling I posted a nice circular route to Corfe, then on through Wytch Farm to Studland and back. Its on the OS Maps App called purbeck isle and follows mostly quiet lanes, tracks and bridleways.

Cosy apartment close to the beach

Lovely cosy apartment in close proximity to the beach and short walk from the centre of town. Perfect for our bank holiday weekend trip. We didn't use the kitchen really as we were out most of the time but seemed to be well stocked with crockery, cooking utensils, oven, microwave, fridge and kettle. Shower was a on the small size but was fine for a quick shower and lovely spacious bathroom. Bed was very comfy though squeaked every time we turned over. Sofas/sofabeds in the living room also very squeaky, though not a problem as we didn't use them much. Beautiful view of the sea from the living room window. Overall very pleased with our stay and would happily stay again.

the kitchen and shower room werent very clean, the oven was dirty with the grill pan still having debris in from the last guests, I bleached the sink and we put all the crockery and cutlery through the dishwasher.

'Not beach front accommodation'

Disappointed with our stay although the flat itself was clean and comfortable. It was up 3 flights of stairs which was difficult for my 86 year old mum and you could just about squeeze into the wc. The owner rang my husband at home to pay the balance even though we were supposed to pay at the hotel and sent details to me by email on the morning of how to get into the building but I had no internet as already on holiday. I phoned the hotel 4 times in the 2 previous days and didn't receive a call back so generally I was not impressed with the service. Also we had to pay £5 each for towels for 2 nights which I wasn't expecting and were unable to park the second night.
