Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

This place looked nice in photos when I booked. I thought I made a good choice for my family to swim/sleep after driving for 10 hours. When I got there, I noticed the pool and hottub were down. That was a huge disappointment especially for my kids whom I promised we would swim that night. The lady at the front hadn't a clue as to what she was doing when checking in and made me question if I made the right choice. The moment I walked into the room, I was mortified. It was in terrible condition, unclean and has roaches dead and alive on the floor. The toilets were not cleaned and still had urine on the seats, the sink and tub still showed specs of dirt and debris, the bathroom floor hadn't been swept as well as the carpets near the sink. Hair tie was left there as a souvenir, furniture was in terrible shape and had clearly been chewed on by a dog. The fridge didn't close completely, compromising our food. I felt so uncomfortable, I went to the desk to demand another room. That was even worse. I was a mess at that point. I went back to the desk to ask for a refund so I could leave and go somewhere else but the lady would not help me. She even argued with me, essentially calling me a liar about the rooms being unkempt. At some point I just had to accept my circumstance and learn from it, but take it from me and other Google reviews DO NOT STAY HERE! I have never felt so uncomfortable in a hotel as I was here.

Great room but staff....

I started it off by being put uneasy by the person who checked me in. He asked very personal and in my opion inappropriate questions like if how much money I made, if I was married and if not if i would marry him, this was not in a joking manner as he then proceeds to lecturer me on why American woman are afraid of commitment etc. The room was very clean and if it wasn't for the bed being rock hard would have been perfect. I have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed it as a whole.

Staff was nice…

The staff was friendly, apologetic & helpful. We rented two adjoining rooms, the first one was good but the second one obviously had someone stay in it before us. Bed had soot on it, pillows all over bed where someone had laid. Half drank pop & cup with cigarette butts in it. The staff apologized & cleaned the room while we waited. Kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub! We discovered why the staff thot the room was clean & it wasn’t!!! At 11:30pm someone tried coming in the window while the kids were all asleep!!! Scared the crap out of us, but thankfully they were quickly scared away by our commotion. I assume they do it on a regular basis. Breakfast the next morning was good but will NEVER stay on a first floor again bc everyone was terrified to sleep & no one got much sleep. Unfortunate bc that was the reason we got a hotel room. :(

Nice area with lots of hotels, dining options, convenience stores. Closeish to UNL or downtown if attending football or volleyball game. Lincoln is easily drivable and ppl are friendly.

The beds were fairly clean; however, the room was a little outdated and the floors were a bit dirty. Never seen gambling machines in a hotel. Breakfast was good, including eggs and sausages. Slight recommendation and not too bad for a budget inn.
