Dishonest, not as described

I booked a room with specific beds, and a kitchenette. It was supposed to be a one bedroom apartment. I paid in advance. When I arrived to check in I told the gentleman there were only four of us as the fifth person couldn't join. He immediately changed is to a different hotel and said they were overbooked. I said that would be fine as long as it had the same beds and was the same what I had already paid for. He guaranteed it was. He walked us to a hotel for check in, didn't offer to help carry anything either. He left. We checked in with the hotel and we're given a room without a kitchenette and beds requiring us to share a bed. Not what i paid for. When I went to the desk she said I didn't book with her but with the gentleman so I must speak to him. So I called and was told there is nothing they can do. Do not ever book with this dishonest company. It is very odd to book with them and then be put in a hotel and to check in with them. I was booking what was listed as an apartment. The entire thing was odd. I felt that since there weren't five of us he purposely put us in something smaller. And it didn't have a kitchenette. The hotel doesn't have any rooms with kitchenettes so he knew he was lying.

I would not stay here again. We had to go to 3 different places for our room! It was the craziest thing ever. If you have never been to Rome, do not book this room. It can be very frustrating and confusing. The room was located on a cute street, but at night it was noisy. The bathroom....TINY. The room itself was fine. However, going to one place to check in, another place 10 mins away to get keys, and then another 10 mins to get our room was crazy. I would never do it again. Felt like I was on The Amazing Race.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

Francesca was very friendly and helped us check in. They were able to arrange a van to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk to the Colosseum. Everything was perfect with this trip.

I was not aware that the address on the site is just their office ,from there the apartment is walking distance but it is difficult if you have a lot of luggage, They do not offer room service , The place is clean but old furniture, chairs have stains , great kitchen and bathroom,clean and very good location . Office clerks very helpful.

Right in the center of Rome!

An easy walk to all we wanted to see! The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, many restaurants. Plenty of room for six people. The only problem is we couldn’t get hot water. Other than that, it was perfect!

Es tan malo que no se por donde empezar. 1. La suciedad de la habitación era impresionante. La cocineta, el olor del baño, la suciedad de los pisos. Había pelos por todos lados. 2. Se inundaba la ducha y todo el baño. 3. Cobijas feas y viejas. 4. Olor a humedad. 5. Paredes sucias y rayadas. 6. Hongos en los marcos de las ventanas. 7. Habitación caliente. 8. Colchones en pésimo estado. Imposible dormir en ellos cómodamente. 9. Baños con pisos viejos y gastados. Pictures oversell

Confusing arrival as the adress didnt match. Pictures oversell - the apartment needs an upgrade on painting, hooks for clothes and towels, bath, new madrasses and sleepingblankets. It was nice and clean though and the local area close to the Colosseum was fantastic.

Péssimo Quarto, não é nenhum das fotos!

Infelizmente não eram os quartos das fotos. A recepção é bem longe do hotel e demoramos quase 1 hora para conseguir ir para o quato. Tinham sangue nos lençóis, além de poeira por todo apartamento. A janela é virada para um jardim interno, e não para a rua, o que não permite que vejamos nada ao longo do dia. A chegada no apartamento é necessário pegar 2 elevadores e andar por 5 minutos, isso só dentro do prédio. Não existe privacidade, pois é baixo com outras janelas próximas. A TV só pega alguns canias. A louça não estava limpa para utilizar, e não possuía produtos de limpeza, tivemos que comprar para conseguir usar algo.

L'appartamento non era quello visualizzato nella prenotazione, ma molto più piccolo. Per entrare si deve passare da un altro stabile e la chiave a disposizione è una, per cui chi rientra dopo gli altri, deve telefonare a chi è in appartamento e aspettare che questi scendano ad aprire. Da migliorare: il divano letto cigola ad ogni movimento, non ci sono oscuranti alle finestre, le lampadine non funzionanti non sono state sostituite nei 2 giorni anche se richiesto. La sveglia la mattina è garantita dalle campane di una delle tante chiese vicine, ovviamente. Ottima posizione centrale e quindi comodo se si è a piedi: 20 minuti dalla stazione Termini, 5 minuti dal Colosseo, 10 minuti dal Quirinale, molti bar e ristoranti vicini. Molto pulito e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ideale per brevi soggiorni. Check-in veloce e cordiale anche se in altra struttura.

Cassette Monti:buena elección para alojarse a Roma

Los servicios y la atención. Del Personal fue excelente. Pusieron cortinas nuevas y accedieron a todo lo que les pedí. El departamento que alquile era un studio monoambiente en Rione Monti con excelente ubicación. Cerca de todo. Si pretenden conocer lo principal de Roma histórica deben Alojarse en ese barrio. En cuanto al estado del departamento es normal,nada lujoso y para dos personas (pero ofrecen de todo tipo). Le agregaron un horno microondas a mi pedido. Solo le faltaría una tostadora que no pedi porque no uso pero otros pueden necesitarla.

Studio room needs an update

We booked the studio apartment which was located in the annex building. The stairs were very narrow and difficult to get large luggage up. The apartment was quite spacious which was nice but overall it was in poor condition. I didn't feel like the photos on the site was representative of the apartment I stayed in. The shower in the bathroom was small and had an awful amount of mould - could not feel clean showering there! The kitchen was ok, we didn't cook but the fridge was handy. The kettle was old and dirty - this is something that could easily be replaced which gives the apartment a sense of neglect. The fold out bed was very uncomfortable - again something that could be replaced to improve the quality of the apartment. The positive side was the location - the neighbourhood is pleasant and interesting, it is close to the Colosseum and walkable to the train station. Overall I was quite disappointed and felt a bit cheated as this studio was not represented in any of the photos which show more modern looking apartments. Based on reviews by others it seems they have a mix of nicer apartments (probably in the main building) and old ones.

They put us up in a different apartment. The apartment was clean but old. Only 1 bathroom for 5 people. Original apartment was hard to locate. Better directions would have been appreciated. Took us more than 30 minutes going in circles. The staff gave great recommendation for restaurants. Well done slyvia. Great location walking distance to the colloseum.

Great location for sightseeing!

We had a really pleasant stay at Casette Monti. The apartment is in a good central location near to the Colosseum and also to the Colosseum and Cavour Metro points. Therefore it is very easy to get to and from the airport on transfers/ or out and about generally, at a very good price. We had breakfast at the nearby 'Bar' where the service is very good and prices reasonable. Our apartment was where others needed to pass to get to theirs and unfortunately on our first night, such guests weren't very quiet, (And I'm talking post midnight onwards...) You could also hear noise from the main street. I would suggest you ask for a room that is set back from the main block which I am sure you can do, which would help with street noise. That said, our second and third nights were much better. A good sized room with everything needed. Clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay in Rome.

Apartment, a bit far away from the address

The apartment was in different place than the address in Hotels.com. They said, that there are several apartments in different locations. It would have been nice to say the exact address when reserving the room, now it was quite far from the address.

Rome vacation.

To be honest there are only few good things for this appartment is location and size of the rooms. Bed is very hard and uncomfortable, we have to teenage boys and pool out bed/sofa isn't fit for purpose: nosy, thin mattress and just too small. Kitchen seen better days and there's a damp smell uber the sink. Not enough cutlery, cups and glasses. Bathroom is on smaller side, with no proper ventilation so pretty damp as well. Shower cabin is tiny and you need to squeeze in and out. In general there were plenty dust everywhere and left things in the cabinets that nobody cleaned. Dinning table looks like it seen better days and better not to touch it as it is very unstable. Before we arrived we called in to ask if later check can be arranged and were very pleased to hear that we can stay free of charge till late but when checked we were told we need to pay for the later check out. To summarise: great location but unsatisfactory service and condition of the property. Good clean up and better beds needed.

ottima posizione,nuovo.peccato per le dotazioni

Ottima posizione centrale,vicinissimo al colosseo,qualche minuto a piedi dalla stazione Termini.Reception in loco.palazzo storico molto ben ristrutturato.Ben 3 porte da aprire,sicurezza garantita.Appartamento molto gradevole,arredato praticamente nuovo,ben tenuto,anche se all'arrivo non era molto pulito (molta polvere,briciole sparse,pavimenti non puliti,bicchieri unti). Comunque 2 camere ampie,soggiorno con divano letto,tavolo allungabile.Bagno bello,ma il bidet perdeva acqua e le ante della doccia si staccavano dal binario.Ben fornito di teli bagno e saponi/shampoo,riforniti ogni giorno con le pulizie. Peccato per le dotazioni.In cucina solo 2 piastre elettriche molto vecchie,con pentole non adatte e così anche solo scaldando il latte,tutto si appiccica al fondo o brucia....Abbiamo prenotato per 6 persone ma non c'erano nè bicchieri,nè posate,nè piatti,nè sedie a sufficienza.Li abbiamo richiesti:le stoviglie sono arrivate ,ma non c'erano sedie disponibili.Davvero????con tutti quegli appartamenti?Quindi abbiamo consumato tutti i pasti con 2 persone sedute sul divano;davvero scomodo.
