The entire property is very dilapidated and rundown. It appears as though there’s no maintenance done on the exterior and certainly not in the rooms. If it were not located on Catalina Island, it would be a solid one star hotel. Rather disgusting.

Rented the Queen Suite w Murphy bed - it was so much cheaper than the hotels on the beach, but we were three blocks away & those Hotel rooms were Tiny ! Our room was so roomy & comfortable for us 3 The staff was great , I’d definitely be back there again

My husband and I just wanted a budget, conveniently located hotel. This fit the bill perfectly. Nothing special, no free breakfast, phone, blow dryer, lotion, iron or ironing board or safe. But does have tv, microwave, mini fridge/freezer, mini coffee station, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, AC, beach towels, and a very nice patio area with table and chairs, plus two Adirondack chairs to enjoy a really wonderful view overlooking the casino and town. There was a jacuzzi but we did not use. Our room had a keyed sliding glass door as the only entry. It locked nicely but wouldn't call it super secure. Our phone chargers would not stay plugged in as the outlets were old but the bedside lamps had outlets. All in all, we found this comfortable, quiet and well located to walk everywhere within just a few minutes and well priced. We'd stay again.

Everything in the room is old including the bed. Had the worst sleep with the really old bed they have at the room. It was so bad I woke up with bad lower back pain. I wouldn't recommend this place. They are better spots to stay in the island for the same price.
