This property is terrible. The building is in total disrepair and the room smelled like mold. There were not any amenities and the staff was not at all helpful. The A/C in the bedroom was missing, so we were not able to use that room. It was an absolutely miserable experience. I would not stay at this property.

Rooms haven’t been updated in decades. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Our bed was a Murphy bed from the last century with a cheap mattress. The prices are 5x the value/quality.

Front desk staff was excellent and professional!! Room did not have towels and the coffee maker was disgustingly (just remove them) bathroom was clean but the property would amazing if they would put some effort into aesthetics ! Even offering a ride down the steep hill would have been a plus. Will not recommend or stay there again, this was my first time on Catalina and I only live an hour by the boat.

The entire property is very dilapidated and rundown. It appears as though there’s no maintenance done on the exterior and certainly not in the rooms. If it were not located on Catalina Island, it would be a solid one star hotel. Rather disgusting.

Get the larger room with the kitchenette. Just a heads up, this hotel is facing the other way so you don’t have a chance for a view from your room. But just step out and walk thirty feet to the left and you will find the view! It has a feel of a Mexican resort, quite charming. A little overpriced but all of the hotels have increased their rates.

Rooms weren’t that clean. Gross orange sticky spots under the toilet on the floor, & pcolored spots on the “clean” towels. The shower was already wet when we got in. This may have been from them cleaning it but you would think they would dry the tub before the next guests come… The place is pretty run down too. Broken windows, the ceiling was literally falling apart and there were parts of the ceiling on the floor. Cigarette buds and trash and broken glass on the sides of the patios, etc. It was fine for one night but I probably would not come back here.

This property does not look like the pictures on Hotel.com. The room was old, moldy, leaky air conditioning, poor lighting, cracked windows glued. People were nice. Not worth the money.
