Hotel staff were amazing, kind, patient, and just perfect. The room… eh. The room was a room. It had a bathroom and was labeled “non smoking,” but the ghost of a 1980s smoker came out as soon as you turned on the AC or heater fan. I was lucky enough to be in town when the weather was mild enough to keep the window open and air it out, but the damage to my allergies was already done. I fought the sniffles for the rest of the trip. Not ideal, but given the price, not unexpected.

Great value for the price. The rooms are old but kept clean and are a little bit larger than other business hotels/economic hotels in Japan. The front desk is very helpful and the cleaning persons really put effort. The location is also great, as it is 7-10 minutes away from Shinjuku Sanchome station or 15-20 minutes away from Shinjuku station. One downside is you will be in the heart of Tokyo’s entertainment district and it will be noisy throughout the night.

This place was so good, I already miss it.

Very friendly staff. Willing to go the extra mile for you. They absolutely took care of my luggage forwarding. The room was very clean when I came. They provided good amenities and toiletries. Location is amazing as well. Right in the heart of Shinjuku, with excellent restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Public transportation is very close as well.

The room was clean, the staff were great and helpful but the hotel is getting a little bit run down. That said it was a good price, convenient and in a safe area. It was a bit noisy at night, but the noise was from the street - not the hotel’s fault. And the noise was no match for a good pair of foam earplugs.
