Be careful of different address

I would say it’s a very central location, close to many tourist attractions which is a big tick on the box. Abit strange that they had taken us to a different location just 3 minutes walk away from the checkin (separate premise), and it can be abit noisey outside. If we needed to use any service from the main hotel where we checked in, we needed to walked to there, which is incovienient for travelers. For breakfast, even thought we wanted to pay extra to have a nice breakfast but we felt inconvenient to walk back to the main hotel. And even we needed to walked back to the main hotel to check out and return the key. Good aircon, clean, and decent beds though.

Becareful!

Joint address with another "Hotel Luzernerhof". Bad check-in service received. The senior receptionist there lacks of professions and impolite. No travel plugs for lendings. Indeed the senior claimed she did not know about Annex Luzernerhof nor hotels.com even with confirmation email shown, and we were offered a room at higher price in Hotel Luzernerhof. Angry experience and felt being cheated.

Noisy sleep

The pucture looked ok , but i didnt realize the room was in a ghetto building with comunal bathrooms and showers, the pictures looked ok but the building was very noisy and had a terrible sleep, dont go for the cheaper hotel i guess?

Die Destination ist aussen nicht angeschrieben. Daher nicht ohne fremde Hilfe zu finden. Zum Glück ist in dem Haus ein Kiosk, wo man nach dem Eingang fragen kann. Im Flur gab es zu wenig Lichtschalter, daher liessen die Gäste das Licht in den WCs dauerhaft brennen, um auch im Dunklen den Raum zu finden. Auch der Lichtschalter im Zimmer hat keine Funktion. Ich musste mich anfangs mit meiner Taschenlampe im Zimmer orientieren. Nach meinem Bedürfnis gab es zu wenig Garderobenhaken in den Duschen Ansonsten war ich zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Teuer und nicht komfortabel

Luzern ist eine touristische Hochburg. Aus dieser Sicht sind hohe Preise für Zimmer nachvollziehbar. Nicht nachvollziehbar ist, dass damit automatisch eine billige, eher schmudelige Einrichtung der Zimmer einhergehen soll. Ein Seiteneingang in einem dunklen Innenhof und vorher das Vorbeischleichen an einer Gruppe Betrunkener, die vor dem Kiosk herumstanden, hat auch nicht positiv zum Erlebnis beigetragen. Vielleicht war es Zufall: vor mir haben zwei Paare eingecheckt. Beide wurden auf das Angebot eines Tagespasses für den öV aufmerksam gemacht, mich hat man nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht.

I wanted to stay in yhe hotel itself, not something up the block around the corner. Had 1 key for main enteance and room. Was separated from roommate and unable to get into the room. Originally searched hotel with AC, it had a table fan. No coffee for expresso machine. Said it had a restaurant below, was only open for breakfast. They said other building had a restaurant, didnt open till 11:30 am. Was put in a hostel shared bathroom. Had to pay extra $30 a night to have own restroom, then had to share bed with cousin. EXTREMELY noisy!

Die Zimmer in der Dependance, die gegen den Löwenplatz gerichtet sind (z.B. 115) sind sehr lauf, vor allem wegen der darunter liegenden "Babalas Bar" mit lärmendem Publikum bis nach 22 Uhr. Auch die Sauberkeit der Frottéetücher und der Zahngläser mit Benutzungsspuren lässt zu wünschen übrig.

On arrival I got told that we will be staying at a different hotel. It was in a scruffy location in a block of flats. I purposely booked the hotel to have 24h reception and a restaurant, but they send some people to a different location. We could smell weed there. I guess they rent few flats and send them there. A receptionist was very aggressive and rude when I only asked why we had to stay at a different location and photos of the room were completely different. After mentioning about smell of weed, she said adults can do what they want. She said that because it had been booked through third party, they would not help us.

Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, jedoch funktionierte fast nichts (Storen defekt, Zustand Bad sehr schlecht). Das Check-in war etwas umständlich weit weg vom eigentlichen Zimmer.
