Very friendly staff, lovely food and clean comfortable rooms. The carpark is small and can hold 4-5 cars at most and entry is via Station Street to the rear of the hotel. Loads of history on the wall of the pub and nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

Old worn place.

It´s a very old hotel / inn, and the furniture is very old. It´s clean, but as a business traveler I won´t use it again. The water pressure in the shower is non-existent, just a slight drizzle, and the Internet is absolutely terrible. Those two things are important to me.

An amazing, character filled hotel with great food

I love this place. The hotel rooms are clean, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The food is lovely (recommend the Stilton mushrooms) and the bar is well stocked and cosy. The staff and management were helpful and it seemed enjoyed the atmosphere. The whole place is filled with interesting antiques and bits of furniture. So much character. Give me this over a nameless boring chain hotel every time. Thank you David and team at Cross Keys Chatteris. I’ll be back for sure.

I stay here at least once a year and it's always a great experience with friendly staff and customers. This time I got the room with the four-poster bed but with a very modern touch: a bathroom mirror with Bluetooth speakers!

Old bnb in small village.

Very old and worn down building, but the room was modern and clean. Wifi terrible with multiple dead periods every evening. Water pressure in the shower terrible. Quiet and clean room. No breakfast until 8:30 in the weekend. Parking right outside, but cramped space.

Reception on arrival was excellent and everything explained well. Room was very spacious and comfortable with free tea/coffee and bottles of water available. Breakfast was also very good.

Beautiful property- friendly staff

Beautiful very old building - 14th century with loads of character. My room was very clean with comfortable bed. Some of the furnishings were dated but it was in keeping with the style of the property. The staff were very friendly and professional and could not fault any of the staff at all. Would strongly recommend this hotel.

Très charmante maison. Très ancienne. Beaucoup de charme. Un accueil parfait. Le personnel a été très attentif et souriant. La chambre est délicieusement décorée. Ne pas hésiter à dîner et à prendre un verre au pub.

The hosts and staff were very helpful, friendly, could not do enough for us. Lovely quirky place with loads of history. Our room was well presented, comfortable and well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water beside bed. Breakfast was first class. Lovely place to stay A

Awful stay in what was meant to be a superior room

Absolutely awful, huge list of issues, 100% the worst place we have ever stayed. Room 14. Milk in room out of date by 13 days and off. 2 tvs both too low to watch if u r sitting on the bed. No table to sit at with drink or if you wanted to sit to watch tv. Broken window latch making closing dirty window impossible to shut and room over smoking area so smell awful. Curtains too short so bright light in room at 5am. Shower screen seal coming off. Glass shelf above sink v wobbly. No bulb in bedside lamp. Duvet bundled up in bottom of wardrobe in twisted heap which fell out when opening the wardrobe to put clothes in. No staff at desk at check in and early morning to get some fresh milk. Very little on site parking. Breakfast adequate but not great. You have to choose a breakfast time for next morning and order what you want for breakfast when you book in. No phone in room to contact reception note left at night with a persons mobile and room number for issues in the night.We stayed on a Saturday night and kareoke went on v loud until midnight made worse by not being able to shut the dirty window.. Info on website incorrect. Will be submitting an official complaint. This site wont let me add photos
