Booked a Waikiki room as this was our second time staying at this hotel within a couple of weeks. Was upgraded to a partial Ocean View and I think it was a better view than the Ocean View we'd had previously, as it also looked over the Waikiki strip.
The room has a king bed, a large bathroom with a separate toilet and shower room (not great water pressure). There is a small sofa, plus a chair and small table, fridge, safe (although this is at floor level in the bathroom and is incredibly awkward to get things in and out of).
Breakfast for 1 was included with our booking, along with $25 credit for parking. Parking is only by valet and costs $55 per night (very expensive). Breakfast choices include a bagel and cream cheese, breakfast bagel, breakfast croissant, turkey and pesto panini, caprese panini. You could also pay $6 and upgrade to any of the other breakfast options like Acai bowls and cooked breakfasts. Both paninis and the Acai bowls we got were very good. There can be a bit of a line, especially on the weekends - so make sure you allow plenty of time to order and get your food before you need to leave.
The location of this hotel is 10/10 (unless you want oceanfront). The hotel is on the main Waikiki strip and is surrounded by shopping, restaurants galore and so close to the beach.
There was a full evacuation of the hotel which ended up being a false alarm - so glad we only got floor 8 rather than previous 19 - that would have been a lot of stairs to walk down!
