Underwhelming to say the least

We are two rooms booked check-in was at 3 PM. They didn’t have our first room ready until six and our second room wasn’t ready until after 6:30. I booked a room with two beds and asked if I had switched to a king size bed and was even OK with getting a downgrade so that I wouldn’t have to wait almost 45 minutes for my room to be ready and they were unwilling to accommodate the request. The pillows were extremely lumpy and comfortable and the comforters on the two beds in both of our rooms did not match each other the couch in my suite was extremely dirty and there was no coffee table. Just a big awkward open space. This is a very disappointing Marriott property who does not value or appreciate their customers.

Didn’t want to let me check out early

I wanted to check out early, had told them when I checked in I may be leaving a day early, and they didn’t want to let me check out early. They were trying to tell me since I booked through hotels.com they couldn’t change it, but I hadn’t paid through hotels.com, I was paying them directly so I know that wasn’t true. Hotels.com called them, they said they had to talk to the manager and owner. They finally let me check out. It was an issue for no reason. The hotel gym sucks and the key didn’t work to get in so I had to ask every day for them to let me in and they were always out of towels in the gym. I won’t be returning to this hotel.

I booked at this hotel because the reviews were great, however upon arrival I was told the elevators were not working and they reserved my room on the 3rd floor, they were able to accommodate me with a room on the 2nd floor the rate was not cheap. When I arrived to the room I noticed there was a black pubic hair on the shower body wash, at this point I went and bought Clorox spray to sanitize the shower. There was also a bright street light facing the bed which kept me up and the heater in the room was not working properly. Staff also forgot to turn on the ice machines and the filtered water needed the filter to be replaced so the water was room temperature and the taste was horrible. My overall experience at this hotel was unacceptable and do not recommend it nor will I stay here again!!

Elevator

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The only thing was when I got there. The elevator did not work and they didn't have any rooms on the 1st floor available, so the deskler had to carry all of our bags upstairs and we had at least 7 bags, 3 large ones, but he was so kind and carried our bags for us, but we had to walk the stairs for the 3 days that we were there and then when we got ready to check out. He came up 11 o'clock at night. And took all of our bags down to the car for us. I was told that I was sent an email through hotmail dot com to let me know the elevator didn't work but I never received a email from the hotel nor did I get a phone call.
