Our family was traveling for a volleyball tournament. After driving 3 hours, we went to check into our room that I pre checked in online for during our travels. During check in at the hotel, we were made aware that our room was not available yet. We arrived around 2:40pm. Upon check in I was made aware that there was a $50 incidentals charge per night that wasn’t detailed to me in any communications I had with the hotel prior to booking but is understandable just frustrating that it wasn’t explained before. I gave the front desk my phone number to text me when the room was ready, I never received a text. But from my online check in I received an email at 3:37pm that our room was finally ready. Once we got to our room, we always check for anything in the beds & room, and do a quick clean. When stripping the beds there was hairs on the sheets and blood on the comforter. I went to the front desk and they promptly brought up new bedding for all the beds. They even had house keeping make the beds for us which was very nice. The bathroom was clean and the spa shower was awesome. The carpets in the room definitely need cleaned they are stained and just not appealing. The next morning we woke up and went downstairs for breakfast before the tournament, the had a very small selection of breads, eggs that were watery, potatoes that were warmish and not completely done, oatmeal that was good but very soupy, and coffee/OJ/water.
