不快的經歷

沐浴居然無擋水，沐浴完畢整個浴室地台會全濕，非常不方便。而最糟糕的是我放在行李箱內的現金HKD2000會被偷去，酒店方面承諾跟進，但我回家差不多已一星期還未收到回覆。在酒店遇到小偷，而且我肯定是酒店員工做的。奉勸準備入住這酒店的朋友，務必小心。

Excellent Service, Location and Breakfast.

The AD hotel has 3 amazing things going for it: #1 The staff. The hotel concierge, the cleaning staff, the breakfast staff were all amazing. I have traveled to 16 countries this year alone and stayed at dozens of hotels, and the staff at the AD hotel stand out in my mind as some of the very best. The concierge was very helpful, informative and friendly to myself and other guests. The breakfast staff were very attentive and courteous each morning. #2 The location. The hotel is just around the corner from the acropolis and practically next to the subway. You just can’t get a better location for visiting this part of the city. #3 The breakfast. The food was excellent. Fresh treats, healthy options, beautifully presented, and we ate on the beautiful terrace overlooking the city with views of the Acropolis. Just amazing.

Nice place in unbeatable location

Nice small and friendly hotel in super location- entrance to Acropolis right around the corner, as well as a major metro line. It’s on a side street which means it’s quiet, but in the Plaka district so tons of cafes, restaurants, shops available as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, booked taxis etc. Breakfast was good, with a killer view of the Parthenon.

Spending money to be treated poorly

We paid €170 per night for a room and were traveling with a toddler under 3 years old. At the entrance of the hotel, there was a small play area with a table, chair, and chalkboard, which seemed perfect for our child — but to our surprise, our son was scolded for using it because, apparently, it was reserved for a dog. This was incredibly disappointing and made us feel very unwelcome as a family. During breakfast, staff were constantly hovering around us and following our son’s every move, making us feel on edge the entire time. Ironically, there was no high chair available — which would have kept him seated and calm — and no food suitable for children was offered. The room windows were sealed shut, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. My mother simply asked to borrow the tool to open the window for a few minutes to air the space out, but even that became a problem with the staff. Lastly, on our departure day, with a flight at 11 p.m., we asked if it was possible to have a room for just 4–5 extra hours. The hotel insisted on charging the full €170 again, which we obviously refused. Overall, this hotel was not family-friendly, and for the price we paid, the experience was extremely disappointing.

Hôtel très bien placé au pied du Parthenon. Juste en face du musé. Nous avions la suite vue sur l’acropole avec une grande terrasse. Le personnel est très gentil et très accueillant. Le hic c’est que la suite se situe juste en dessous du petit restaurant où l’on sert le petit déjeuner. Et là il y a un vrai problème d’isolation. Dès 7h00 du matin le bruit des chaises sur le sol vous réveil. Donc difficile la grâce matinée… on entend même le percolateur à café. Concernant la chambre en elle même. Pas de souci. Mais on voit petit à petit qu’elle se dégrade. Plinthe manquante, peinture écaillée autour de la ventilation. Dede te d’eau ajoutée, mais pas coffrée. Manque quelques accessoires comme des paternes pour accrocher les mentaux et dans la salle de bain pour poser simplement les serviettes. Bref bel endroit le prix est celui de l’emplacement, mais autant prendre une chambre à un étage inférieur pour ne pas être dérangé le matin. Dommage pour une suite.

Fantastic stay at AD Hotel! The room is spacious, and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly welcoming! The breakfast was wonderful, as well. And the location simply cannot be beat! It is steps to EVERYTHING....shopping, restaurants, major sites....and we would highly recommend this property!!!!

Dishonest people!

The hotel receptionist panicked over a "lost" key card, only to later plant it under our luggage when we returned, seemingly trying to make us look responsible for the mix-up. Also, the heating didn’t work and the room was freezing.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The staff is so kind and welcoming, it really felt like coming home every time we returned. The location is wonderful, literal feet from the metro station, the Acropolis museum, shopping, fabulous restaurants and two reasonable massage businesses. The street feels a little more residential but still literally steps from everything. Breakfast is beautiful with the kindest people attending to you, not to mention a stunning view of the Acropolis! We stayed in a room with a huge balcony and Acropolis view, it was magical with views of the Acropolis out of nearly every window. The owner was wonderful and so kind and helpful. There is a door man 24/7. This is probably one of my favorite places to stay in a very long time!
