We enjoyed our family vacation very much. Our Villa accommodated the family of 5 very well with three rooms two baths that gave us the privacy among family members. It was easy access to local beaches and many museums. My daughter felt very safe running around the compounds and have beautiful landscapes. Perfect for family with kids. Parking space beside the apartment is very limited after evening time, so may need to park at further parking lots when necessary. There may be some inconvenience as there is no specific space for loading and unloading of luggages when car park is full.

The condo was comfortable and spacious for a family with small children. The couches were quite worn out with many stains on them so it wasn't comfortable to sit on them. The staff are friendly and willing to help out, however many do not speak English so communication can be tricky. There is a lot to do on the resort grounds for families. If you have a car, driving just a few minutes outside of the resort will get you to a convenient store that has more resonable prices than the same branded convenient store on the resort grounds.

Birthday party stay

We stayed for my son's birthday party. There are good things and not-so-good things about staying at Somerset. They absolutely REFUSE to let anyone check in any earlier than 3:00pm. That's sad. Even some of the most expensive hotels in Seoul will allow you to check in earlier if there are rooms available. So, you can imagine HOW LONG you have to wait in line to check in because of this policy. The swimming pool at times, has 1 or more lifeguard. Sometimes I'd see 0. Sometimes I'd see them on their phones. It's crowded, so your kids can't really have any fun. The rooms are big and spacious. You have to wash the dishes if you use them, and you have to take out all the trash before you leave, or you will be charged. Their housekeeping won't do it, which I find strange. You have to do a part of their job.
