Hotel com decoração moderna muito bem localizado em prédio histórico na Praça Luiz de Camões. Quarto grande, móveis modernos com pitada de antiguidade, com grandes janelas. Banheiro bem montado. No quarto que fiquei tinha o inconveniente do vaso sanitário ser separado do restante do banheiro. O prédio já abrigou a Embaixada do Brasil.

Nice Boutique Hotel Still in Need of Some Work

This review may seem like it is one of contradictions. Let me first say, the rooms are gorgeous, very spacious, very European in look and super comfortable. The hotel appears to be a work in progress. It is striving for a 4 or 5 star but still has work to do in the areas of a lobby and a lounge for guests. Right now it is occupied by a large group of digital nomads who work there. Cables run everywhere across the floors, every seat taken and the furniture is worn out and looks like a collection of "goodwill" pieces. The public bathrooms were dark, smelly and in need of cleaning. The staff, though, are super friendly and very eager to please.

Nice hotel but definitely not a 4 star. Staff is very nice and responsive. It’s a small hotel and could stand to be better maintained. Hole in the wooden floor on second landing, furniture in rooms can use an upgrade. Wardrobe doors that don’t stay closed or off hinges. Cracked mirrors, wobbly chairs. Located in the city center - so close to a lot and trolley but VERY loud especially at night. The biggest drawback was that there is no one at the front desk from midnight to 8am. And zero security presence. Had no idea until being told at check in. Don’t believe that’s noted on the website or called out when booking. That’s a huge minus for us. Also the restaurant/lounge hosts events and people come in and out without showing key or signing in. Anyone can gain access to all floors anytime. When we arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready - but then were told if we paid 20 euros extra we can check in early. Not a great impression.

Plutôt bien

L’hôtel est tres bien placé. Nous avons occupé une des suites. L’espace est plutôt grand, c’était très propre et confortable. Les bémols : - très mal insonorisé. Au dessus de nous des gens faisaient beaucoup de bruit toutes les nuits - un grand miroir fêlé (pas grave mais ça nuit à l’image) - petit déjeuner très médiocre, très long à servir et très cher

Great location and nice big room. We immediately had trouble with the Wi-Fi and the shower, so that was not a great first impression, but the staff tried to help. Tiny elevator and steps inside the room would probably be challenging for folks with mobility issues.

Great location, staff were amazing, always willing to help in any way. The only disappointment was the very slow breakfast service. My breakfast took 40 minutes - there was only one server and he was doing his best, but couldn't keep up with the demand.
