This hotel should not be listed on Hotels.com. It’s on a block that has a vacant lot on one side and boarded up properties on the other. The upkeep of this property indicates it may be ready for demolition tomorrow. The carpet on the stairs and in the hallway looks like it was installed 50 years ago and last cleaned 45 years ago. The elevator was not working. We should have found somewhere else to stay but we were leaving on our cruise early the next morning. It’s rating should be less than 1.

The room hasnt been updated since maybe the 70s? I paid around $330 for something that is far worse then any motel 6 i have ever stayed in. It looks.like they sprayed spray paint over everything. Cleaning is a joke. The whole place is ran down and dirty. Very dirty. This coming from someone that staysall over the world and in all kinds of conditions. Very neglected and dirty

Employees were great very nice and helpful. Now let’s get down to the hotel. Terrible only stay there if there is absolutely no where else to stay. Tubs were painted we didn’t use it because all the paint chips were in the tub. TVs three channels if u were lucky. Place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Location perfect. There was garbage in the pool. Our first room the tv didn’t work at all so they relocated us to another room and about 10:45 pm while we were dead asleep we heard someone banging on the door and before we could get up they were already opening the door luckly we had the lock across the door so they could only open it so far but still so scary!! There are no phones in the room so we couldn’t call down to the front desk and we were too scared to leave our room so we waited until the morning to report it!! They were not sure what happened maybe gave someone our room key by accident!!

Hotel is ran down, torn carpet in hallways, dirty walls, barely had hot water for shower, bedding smelled bad, decorative pillows dirty had not be cleaned in a long time, stains on bedding. Tv didn’t have 1 clear watchable channel. Construction was happening around the building was not notified of that issue. Hotel is very old picture are deceiving.

Older budget hotel. Needs updated, but the staff more than make up for it. They were extremely helpful and stayed friendly and positive with the stress of flight delays and frustrated travelers. Plus location was everything. Right on the beach.

The only thing nice about the place was the hotel lobby and its location. Elevator very out of date, felt more safe taking the stairs, room was clean, however , not well maintained. Holes in the wall and was only repaired with some paint over it. Bathtub didn’t drain properly, same for the sink. Beds were uncomfortable, AC was loud but worked for the most part.

Yes, the building is old and the elevator is slow, but it works. The staff is so friendly. The ocean view room is very spacious and extremely clean. The access to the beach couldn’t be any easier. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
