Great location, stay & food

Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something. But overall we had a very good stay and would return.

We had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river. Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic first stay at The Marquis! Was welcomed straight away with a room upgrade. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Highly recommend eating in the restaurant, food was delicious! We will be back!

The hotel was beautiful, the room was clean and warm. We had a fantastic stay, just wish we could of stayed for longer! The only negative I have is that there was building work going on which we weren’t aware of before we booked, however we stayed over a bank holiday so it didn’t effect our stay.
