Cancelled my booking last minute

The risk of booking a private property. Is that they will cancel your booking within a few hours of you arriving. This has never happened to me through Expedia or another third party. You honestly going to tell a customer that you got sold out a few hours when we booked two days before. Shame on you. I had to settle for Panama City beach instead with no beach view. You almost ruined my vacation.

I couldn’t get a roll of toilet tissue. Several of the lamps did not work. Charging plugs did not fit securely into the wall. WiFi was awful; phones cut off communication a ton. No beach towels available. Kitchen appliance was well stocked; had everything we needed. Games were available. Rooms were nicely decorated, beds were comfortable with lots of extra bedding and pillows. The deck was pleasant: overlooking part of the gulf, the pool and tennis courts

It was a very friendly place. Could have had a cleaner room, but it was passable. The carpet was especially gross, felt moldy and sticky. The pool was amazingly clean. The beach attendant, I think his name was Julian or Julius was the sweetest, friendliest and most helpful ever. I didn't like having 1 elevator. Nor did I care for the fact we had to walk half the building, go 4 floors down, outside to a barely covered area next to the outdoor grills to smoke. That was ridiculous. Not to mention putting the smoking area in the grilling and picnic area. When folks were at the table eating what they grilled they had to share the area with us smokers. I mean seriously you should consider allowing smoking on balconies it is outdoors afterall. But...all in all it was nice and we might return next year. Even though we hated the smoking accommodations we did make several new friends at the smoking area. Two couples live within driving distance of our home and we are planning on keeping in touch. Thanks for an almost perfect stay.

The view of the gulf was the best thing about the stay. The room was horribly dirty, with outdated and old creaking furniture that was dirty as well. Everything in this room was nasty and dirty down to the dishes.

Great location, need to live here!

Great location on the beach. 1 hour walk to the Harborwalk. 20 minute walk to a good breakfast. We were told Ubering would be a problem, but we had no issues at all. The condo we stayed was perfect and decorated with a really nice beach vibe to it.

Apartment was old and rundown. Dirty and damaged walls and doors with paint cracking and falling off. Cracked toilet and sofa smelled as if someone peed in it. Looked like the ultimate spring break spot for college students based on the condition of this apartment.

We loved the location and property for the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. It is right on the beach and has very nice amenities (beach chairs and umbrella, tennis courts, shuffleboard, etc.) It is also very clean and maintained. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Our only issue was the condo we were given was outdated. It was clean and neat just could use some updates with the furniture, flooring and especially the beds. Overall we would definitely stay here again, but would choose a different condo

Location was great, check in was a breeze. Overall a good vacation. My only complaints are this. The guest bath never drained, I called front desk twice but they never came to fix it & Upon arrival I was putting my clothes away in the drawer in master bedroom and I found a pair of undies in the top dresser drawer. I was more concerned of how clean the condo was, because I was told the condo was being cleaned better and more caution was taking due to the virus. In my mind if the condo was thoroughly cleaned I wouldn’t have found a pair of left over undies in the drawer. Thankfully we packed disinfectant wipes and Lysol to spray and wipe down everything before we got settled. Other than this, we had a great time.

We had an amazing time at Holiday Surf and Racquet club! Our only complaint is they were repairing dunes during our stay so the view was of construction equipment, and our umbrellas and chairs were shifted over and very crowded. However, we understand that is out of the property’s control.

$1,700 for four nights and only one room condo (room #422). The room was severely outdated. We travel in this area A LOT, so 0 was over charged for quality of stay. Definitely wasn't advertised accurately. The staff was super friendly.

Loved the closeness of the beach! But the key code we were given didn't work, waited 15 min for maintenance ended back at the front desk to get a key! Maintenance never did show. Everyday on the beach we were questioned about where we had been and given the 3rd degree. We should have been informed that they were working on the beach, the area became non existant for us to go out and they worked all night on it so constant noise.
