This is my second time staying this hotel. I like the hotel and I like the location since I often stay in this neighborhood when I'm in Lisbon. The first time I was at this hotel, I was in a room facing the street which luckily wasn't very noisy at all. And this time, I was facing the back patio area, which gave you direct access to the shared patio behind the hotel. The hotel is affordable and kept very clean, with only 7 or so rooms in the entire hotel. The rooms and the hotel common areas are cleaned daily. I do wish the hotel had "do not disturb" signs to hang on the doors in case you didn't want the room cleaned on a particular day or did not wish to be disturbed during the day while the rooms are being cleaned. This isn't a big issue, just a personal preference since I've stayed twice and have had those days when I wanted to sleep in, or, on this trip, when I was sick in bed for two days it would have been nice to avoid getting a knock on the door. The hotel does not have a reception, so you can access the building and your room with a few different codes that are sent to you before arrival. There is a shared kitchen area with a microwave, dishes, a small shared refrigerator, access to an iron/ironing board in the cupboard, a separate public bathroom, and four free luggage-storage lockers to hold your luggage if you arrive early, which I've used on both trips. Food, cafes, grocery store, and the metro all nearby. I would happily stay a third time!
