Room was okay. We had the queen room with the hottub. It was.. okay. The breakfast (as stated) never included a hot selection. Just a DIY waffel and frosted flakes. I think there were some other random premade stuff but we just left. Room was good. Breakfast sucked. For $140 you could atleast give use a decent breakfast.

The best thing about Lakeside is the location. It's next to Chapman Park/Lake Wagner. This is great for morning or evening walks. The worst thing about this property is the very iffy housekeeping service. If you are staying for more than one night, beware! You may or may not get any housekeeping service and you will need it daily as they only give you the bare minimum on towels and other items.

The staff are great; friendly and easy to work with. The check out was an hour earlier which is okay, just different for us. The toilet seat lid wasn’t attached to the toilet and I nearly slid off when I sat down while bathing my granddaughter when we first got there. Also there were only 2 very thin towels for four of us, but we did bring our own so that was alright too. Could be better maintained but I honestly think they are working on it and the over all experience was nice. I will definitely be staying there on my travels that way again.

We had a nice stay here, bed was comfortable, water in the shower and sink was nice and hot and the a/c in our room worked fantastic! Breakfast options are a continental breakfast and we were just fine with a fresh made waffle and a good cup of coffee. We will stay here again!! Staff are friendly, welcoming and as helpful as can be!!!!
