Before check in, I called the phone provided. I called 2 times between 2 hours, its voice mail, leave message saying I'll be late check in. But no reply. Upon arrival, door is closed. I ring door bell couple times, no reception open door for me. Let me wait for an hour for nothing.

When I got there the owner said he was not connected to Expedia and asked that I paid him cash while the payment had already been made. Don’t book this hotel. Don’t go there it’s dirty and creepy. I did not stay and lost 300 dollars. Expedia did a terrible job for repayment. Still outstanding.

Apartment building should be condemned. No amenities and ridiculous quarters. Shared bathroom with other tenants. No landlord presence except showing up 30 minutes late wearing his underwear. This association would make me never consider using Expedia again.

Do not, under any circumstances, stay here

You can’t get in the door to check in and have to phone and wait for someone to let you in. It was raining hard and I waited for 9 minutes and was soaked. The whole place is disgustingly dirty as my pictures will show. There was not ensuite facilities with my room but instead a shower that was so small I could literally not fit in (and I’m slim). The toilet is down the hall the sink is under the stairs in the common area??! I will be trying to retrieve my money as I could not stay in a room that is 4 feet wide with a single bed that is 5 feet long and has not been cleaned in months (pictures will prove it) The bedding was slippery where it is so old and unclean. I’m truly surprised Expedia allow this on their site, it has weaken my opinion of them. Again DO NOT STAY HERE IF THE LAST PLACE IN NYC.

This is a unique and unforgettable place to stay. This was the strangest place I've stayed in the US. If you stay here, be sure to bring your sense of humor. It feels like stepping back in time, with a couple of exceptions: the Haier window AC unit, the condoms in the hallway, electric lighting, etc. The room itself was tiny and the shower/bathroom were shared. The check-in process was a little strange: phone the manager/owner and they come and meet you in the street.
