The flat at itself at Frasers residences was good, spacious, nice view. However, none of the TV worked, one did not turn up and one just showing interference. But the problem it was in the management. We were told that they failed to update the access card the night we arrived and we could not access our flat, so they put us in another in the next building, at Summer residences with roaches. Only we could moved the next day. Second, the management do not have the 'right' to enter the building where our original flat is located (Frasers), so we needed to meet them in the other building (Summer), which was inconvenient and dodgy

Idea of check in is not idea. Have to make phone call which require IDD for non locals.
Cleaning fee is charge but room is absolutely not clean at all.
Instructions for checking out prior to check in and check out is different.
Random charges to me with no explanation.
Internet is not working had to tap my own phone.
Tv does not work no channels are applicable.
Was told to tap my own YouTube to kill boredom.

Staff were late. Had to call staff who didn't answer phone. Then once phone answered, had to wait for them. Staff also came up with other weird charges to rip-off customers. Basically, you get no formal reception. I would suggest for those wanting to book a place online to use a proper hotel etc. This place sucks.

In bedroom TV there was no sound. Aircond was spilling water. Cleanliness was so so.

The place is big and spacious. However, the tobacco smell is quite strong, please be aware of that.
They also charge a cleaning fee, but they didn't clean my room during my stay (4 nights).
The price is reasonable, and the location is good. Just be awera of the abovementioned things.

They operate strictly 3pm check in service despite having rooms available to customers. When I called and msg them to allow me check in early at 12.30pm, they just simply refused which was so not nice at all after long flight and I desperately need a bed to sleep.
I had to wait until 3pm but they took another hour to bring the key!!! At 4pm I finally get chance to see their staff but was told the room I specifically booked was not available due to overbooking!!! They then showed me another completely different apartment which was definitely not a slightly met my expectations.
They do charge cleaning fee about £10 which I think it's overpriced for an outdated room. I agreed to pay for the cleaning fee only because I chose the specific room to enjoy the great view of the city. Most of agency in surrounding buildings do not charge cleaning fee at all.
Overall I was deeply disappointed in this agency called Penguin Homes, I would avoid using their service in the near future.

the studio unit is indeed a suite, with working fridge, washing machine, cooking facilities and a very spacious bathroom.
check-in is a little troublesome considering that the unit owner renting the place is not conneced with the buildings' reception desk.
tip is to get the contact number of the suite representative when booking. check if you are booked at mercu summer suite or at frazier hotel(both building next to each other) do consider the 3pm check in time.
this place is near bukit nana metro train(a short walk).
