Nice Stay

This was a very good choice. It is a very short walk to the Archeology museum as well as the metro. A short metro ride to the train station for easy access to Herculaneum and Caserta Palace. There are many cafes, restaurants and bakeries in the area. The room was clean and bright. The staff were super helpful and we were able to store our luggage on the last day before we departed for our late train to Rome. The bed and pillows were very firm and our room faced the busy, noisy street which caused us some grief when we were trying to sleep.

Super moderne und hübsche Unterkunft

Die ersten drei Tage hat mir alles an der Unterbringung super gefallen. Vor allem die Stille war enorm. Das lag wohl an den fehlenden anderen Gästen. Als die dann kamen, musste ich feststellen, dass das Kopfende meines Bettes an das Badezimmer des Nachbarzimmers grenzt und beinahe jeder Laut durchkommt. Außerdem fiel mir die ersten Tage bereits ein merkwürdiger Geruch auf. Aber erst als die Putzfrau am vierten Tag die Badezimmertür geschlossen hatte und ich sie Stunden später öffnete wurde mir die Intensität des moderiegen Geruchs wirklich bewusst. Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass dieser durch das alte Gebäude ausgelöst wird und die Betreiber des B&B nichts daran ändern können. Aber jemand mit einer feinen Nase bekommt da vermutlich Probleme. Davon abgesehen war alles andere aber Spitze!

Très bien situé

Chambre type bnb, très bon emplacement dans le centre historique mais au calme sur l'arrière cour de l'immeuble. L'ascenseur est payant 50 ct normalement. Accès par le metro Museo a 3 min à pied Chambre spacieuse et propre. Accueil de Antonella tres sympatique, qui parle tres bien français et est tres disponible, joignable et arrangeante. Seul bemol le petit déjeuner, qui doit etre pris dans le café du quartier à l'extérieur. Le choix est limite car 1 croissant 1 café et un mini verre de jus de fruit industriel. C'est dommage.

Very charming room convenient to the old city center. The staff was extremely helpful and the location was conveniently walkable to many of the locations I wanted to visit. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely, well-managed B&B. The staff was welcoming and informative. The rooms were clean and had all amenities you might need including a fridge and coffee setup. It’s close to a great restaurant Re Lazzarone and includes breakfast at Karmacore which was also great. It’s on the third floor of a very old building that has a lift.

Antonella was so helpful. They are providing euros for the (extremely small) elevator to take you and your luggage to the 3rd floor. There are also stairs for the more fit. Our room was huge and well appointed. It was very clean. You can open the windows to enjoy the noisy Napoli environment or close them and there’s hardly any noise from the street. Everything worked well in the room. Would definitely go back!

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral . Vieles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen . Metrostation auch nur ca. 300Meter entfernt. Zimmer sauber. Zur Straße sehr laut. Frühstück im gegenüberliegenden Café sehr lecker und sympathisch. Man ist in wenigen Minuten im Centro Storico. Restaurants und Bars alles vor Ort. Wir wurden sehr freundlich in der Unterkunft empfangen.

Great location, very firm mattress.

Hotel was proactive in arranging our arrival. Antonella was very helpful. She greeted us at the street and explained the map of the city. It was a popular area in the evening for bars and restaurants. The elevator cost 50 cents to use so bring change. Otherwise it will be a hassle for you. The bed was very firm. Not comfortable for me, but if you like a very firm mattress, they have it. Overall it was a good stay. I would recommend it for the neighborhood, proximity to archeological museum and lively night life. But with the caveat about the elevator and mattress.

We spent one week in La Smorfia. For us the location was excellent. Many places in walking dictance. Lots of restaurants, cffeterias, shops nearby. The hotel was nice. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. Big thank you to Antonella. Hotelrooms where cleaned daily, The elivator is really small and only two people can ride it at once and you have to insert a 50 cent coin every time. There was three of us so I walked the stairs many many times. I didn’t mind it but just something to take under consideration. The breakfast in the nearby Caffeteria included a coffe, Juice and a croissant. It was fine for me. I did’t mind to have pictachio filled croissant for breakfast. There was other options as well like English breafast and so but these you have to pay for. Over all it was an amazing trip. If you want to get a real feel of Italian way of life then Napoli is the place To be. Defenately will go again.

Good location

Very near the interesting Archeological Museum...just two blocks. Lots of restaurants near by, too. Rooms were clean and had everything you need.

Great location, friendly service. Things to note: Elevator is accessible with a fee, The bathroom shower needed some upgrading and was fairly small, there isnt someone at the front desk at all times (some solo travelers may book hotels expecting to have someone present, just an fyi that it isnt the case here). Overall a good stay!
